Doesn't he post on here as timelord?

No, that's a different bloke. Timelord used to have a stall on the Covent Garden indoor market.

Timelord was fucking weird. He'd get embarrassingly fanboy-ish and look like a dick, and he was around 40 years old I think.

Years ago a friend showed me a clip of gave me a tape of Eli's to watch. I'm sure it was a show he was promoting. I can't remember what happened beforehand, but I'm pretty sure he put an ice cream cone on a fan's head. Definitely something along those lines, and without a doubt totally bizarre.

What was the thing about the porn videos? I seem to recall it got in some of the national papers at the time but never got to read it

This was in the mid 1990's preinternet days so you have to bear that in mind considering what was classed as illegal porn. As well as wrestling videos he had a collection of porn videos (no idea of what type of porn other than at the time it was considered illegal under the obscenity laws at the time) that he used to lend out to people who according to him threw a couple of quid down into his basements flats courtyard which he then collected for charity.

What was odd was he admitted all of this in the case but the jury found him not guilty of the offences.

He did try topping himself midway thru the trial but it was unsuccessful and the trial continued a day or so later.

Who was Steve Parker? Was he a legit "flasher"?

Steve Parker was an unemployed gardener who never seemed to grasp that pro wrestling was a work and was one of those most entertaining persons to watch as he would do moves for real and kick out on the count of 1.

You may find him listed on some old bills promoted by Pete Collins or MEGA promotions ones when Eli when cheap country to places like local youth clubs on council estates. (He wrestled on a couple of bills with the legendary Gareth Humphreys when Gareth was about 15 ).

He acquired the 'flasher' moniker due to his desire to be known as Steve 'Flash' Parker BUT rather comically Eli would always refer to him on the mike and on the commentary for shows videos as Flasher as that's a name he thinks is more suiting to him.

Eli also used the 'flasher' term on a couple of posters for a couple of shows I know of and I always wondered if the crowd was either disappointed or relieved when someone with a 'Flasher' moniker failed to appear in a dirty raincoat as part of their wrestling attire.

The Whizz kid Gareth Humphries, The Mean Biker, Bad Leroy Brown, Lewis Blain, Clive Cannel, Davey Jones, Shadow Master, Steve Jericho, the American Allstar - all going at it in front of 30 people at Longfield Community Centre in Trowbridge - they were the days ;)

Eli was a strange one, was always well known and surrounded by controversy by everyone here in a bath, but you can't doubt he loves his wrestling.
