Most of the ones I've met were at signings, but there were a few who actually came out after shows which is always classy. A few examples are Tommy Dreamer, London & Kendrick and RVD who were all great. Sabu also came out after a show but, by the looks of it, not to talk to fans but because he was attached to RVD's hip. That was pretty funny.

At signings, I've met Foley who was very nice, having a laugh and joke with pretty much everyone.

D'Angelo Dinero was completely in character but was cool. A genuine quote to me and my mate was "Pope may be ill, Pope may be limping, but later on tonight, Pope be pimping." Brilliant stuff.

I'll also echo the love for Chris Sabin from above. He was the only one at this particular TNA signing who actually reached out and shook my hand without me doing so first. Lovely bloke who was always smiling.

The British Invasion were a brilliant trio to meet at the same time. As I was talking to Rob Terry, Magnus was taking the piss out of our Welsh accents while Doug Williams just stood there laughing. All funny blokes, even though Terry was a bit quiet.

Now Earl Hebner was a bit of an odd one. At first he seemed like a prick, constantly making "witty" remarks about my programme being passed along so quickly to get signed. Afterwards I realised he was joking and saw the funny side of it, but he just seemed a bit smug to me.

I'm lucky in that I've never met anyone who was a complete prick.

Virgil's awesome. Trying to flog old nWo shirts for about 70 quid.

He actually had some reasonably cool Nitro t-shirts when I met him, but only in ridiculous sizes. The kind of sizes that mean no one since 1996 has ever wanted them.

Still trying to pedal the VHS tapes too.

Pity lad that's amazing. Better than I could have imagined! :)

Oh. And a hat to match the t shirt! Very snazzy. Looking at Virgil's left arm it looks like his hand is in his pocket. Why didn't you go for a more classic pose? Get him to pretend he's put you in the sleeper hold or have you with your hands round his throat pretending to strangle him and him doing a hilarious facial expression with the big tongue hanging out.

I have one of 2 Cold Scorpio kind of strangling me, and one with Warlord putting me in a full nelson. Matching hat and shirt on that one too, cos that's how I used to roll...

Wasn't gonna get on on this because I didn't wanna be all "oh look how legit insider I was", but this thread's all in good spirits. I've met too many wrestlers to mention these days, if we're including British guys. Some memorable ones:

Pac- Went on a five-minute rant upon seeing a child's party in the venue cafe, claiming that it wasn't a party because it didn't have Party Rings ("It's just a gatherin'!").

Daniel Bryan - Had his merch table next to the main one that I was running at the PWG show in Portsmouth. Incredibly chatty and unfalteringly polite.

Chris Hero and Bryce Remsburg - between shows on an IPW:UK weekender, I took them on a guided tour of London which I basically had to make up as I went along because I didn't know the city, and everyone who did was too busy to show them around. It ended up being a ridiculously fun day. Bryce sang along to the Spice Girls and the Bangles at the top of his voice in the car, and gave me a free t-shirt as a thankyou for my shitty improv tour.

Mitsuharu Misawa - While queueing at the Cov Skydome for the NOAH show, alexander pushed a back door open to reveal Blokbusta, standing on his own in the corridor (hilarious). He then went to do it again a few seconds later, but it opened on its own, and out pops the head of Alex's favourite wrestler of all time. To which he responded, in the most middle-English voice I've ever heard him adopt, "Ooh, 'ello!" Misawa just smiled and closed the door. Not really a "meeting", but, y'know, any excuse to tell that story.

Might post more if/when I remember them.

The Iron Sheik is one of the nicest old guys I've met. I got a pic with him and his medals and big toy wcw belt. It was at 1pw and he was sat in a seat in the middle of the floor. He nodded off later and people just let him have a kip. Respect the vets and all that!

In 2000 was in the sports cafe in london. Only watched the bit of wwf that was on C4 at the time after being obsessed with wrestling from 90-94. Saw there was a WCW signing going on, being fairly well worn and on one site of wcw banners and Buff Bagwell no less the obsession flooded back like it was Summerslam 92 again.

Approached Bagwell who was quite good about it considering how inebriated i was, though perplexed that i was asking him about 2cold scorpio and calling him marcus alexander bagwell. After being repeatedly being asked if i was in the wcw fanclub and a few more attempts to engage bagwell in boozed up conversation. I was escorted from the pemises much to the bemusement of the people i had entered with not knowing of my obssession. Even though Bagwell was pretty good about it, still felt like divine retribution when Austin and Angle kicked him out of the back door of the wwe.

Was good to meet scorpio at 1pw who was a really good guy signing for free, and ask him about bagwell.

In 2005 i met team 3d when they had been future endeavoured by wwe and were not working for tna at an expo. Still being fairly naieve asked bubba the question. "considering you were never in wcw, do you consider yourselves to be wcw champions." He looked me dead in the eye and just said "Sure" (not really sure waht else i was expecting)after that bubba thought iwas a **** (take your pick) I asked if he could write on my 8x10 "get the tables", again dead in the eye "No". Dvon forgave me and was good even wrote "get the tables". Was a bad time for them but was never sure if it was my mark question, asking him to write "get the tables" a wwe thing. (at the time they had the tee trademark this with the finger). Or just that bubba is a prick, probably all three.

Met Kurt Angle at signing had a copy of powerslam with the ps 50, was a good guy easy to talk with couldn't belive he was no.2 did have to buy tna dvd for the pleasure which is maybe a step too far.

Best i met was Ox Baker which was huge for me and he was so cool taking as many photos as i wanted and give me some stuff for free, real class act.
