Paid Members BomberPat Posted November 23, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted November 23, 2017 I got a decent blender off Amazon for £20 reduced from around £75, and had ordered a robot vacuum cleaner for £66, reduced from over £200, but the order got cancelled without explanation. That sort of household appliance/tech is the only decent discount you're likely to find on Amazon.

Merzbow
I've got a few notifications set up on HUKD, I'm waiting on all the VPN offers to emerge as mine runs out like tomorrow. Tesco are selling a few games cheap already, the new Wolfenstein is only £21 and the new Gran Turismo is £20.

Steve Justice
I tried the NordVPN trial, and couldn't get access to US Netflix. Not sure what the problem was, but it stopped me from buying a subscription.
Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted November 23, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted November 23, 2017 None of the VPNs work for Netflix now. Or they do for about 5 minutes and that's it.
Steve Justice
That'll be why then. Why is the UK Netflix so poor in comparison? Might have to move to America.

Merzbow
I wouldn't bother with them personally, they block torrenting and you'll never get it working with Netflix. It's in a 5 eyes country if that bothers you too.

What sites do you use, out of interest? Anything that works in the same vein as Netflix, i.e. automatic start of the next episode with TV shows? Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted November 23, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted November 23, 2017 Nah, but I only use them for films.
Merzbow
Game just goofed, prematurely listing deals so they've now locked the entire site down. The retail stores apparently re-open tonight at 8pm til "late", I hope the workers are being paid a nice wedge. Wolfenstein 2 will be £20 for both normal and steelbook editions, I think The Evil Within 2 is the same price also.
