Snitsky's back acne
Courtesy of lordsofpain.net..... Â According to ProWrestling.net, one half of the current TNA Tag Team Champions, Bobby Roode, has had his contract with the company expire. Â Roode was scheduled to appear at this weekend's Lockdown fan fest, but was pulled at the last minute, and he hasn't appeared on television since the Impact tapings in the United Kingdom. Â Reports say that Bruce Prichard, the head of talent relations for TNA, mistakenly let the contract expire, and that TNA wasn't even aware of the situation until Roode himself brought it up to them. Â Roode and his tag partner, Austin Aries, are scheduled to defend the Tag Titles against Christopher Daniels & Kazarian and Chavo Guerrero & Hernandez at Lockdown tomorrow, but Roode's status for the event is in question now. Â If any more details come out, we will pass them along to you.

ClassicsGuy
Royal Rumble buyrate just announced - 498,000 buys (322,000 in the U.S. + 176,000 internationally). Â Big success - biggest Rumble buyrate since 2008. Â Rock draws, as if we didn't know that already.

Dirty Eddie
Will WWE actually view that as a huge success though? Â They were disappointing with the Survivor Series 2011 buyrate (featuring the Rock and Cena V Awesome Truth) because that only bumped the buyrate from the previous year by just over 70,000, which is about the same margin that this year's Rumble beat the last one by. hitman89762000
Is it possible they're happy with it because its one of the few occasions punk has headlined a show and gotten a healthy buyrate as opposed to him being 2nd fiddle to cena/rock etc? As in they can say "see we knew he could draw!"
Paid Members ColinBollocks Posted March 12, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted March 12, 2013 WWE clearly have a number in mind, pre-PPV. People seem to look at the increase, rather than the overall number. WWE maybe projected (and budgeted) Survivor Series doing in the 300k range, so of course anything below that is considered poor.
