cobystag
At said show Jerry Lynn also announced 2012 is set to be his last year of wrestling. Â Wouldn't mind seeing him one last time...... Y'know if he does retire this year.
Snitsky's back acne
The Main event of the show was supposed to be Matt Hardy vs Sid Vicious. It was announced at the very beginning of the show that Sid did not board his plane and he no showed the event. The booker of the show then decided to call Sid right then and there in the middle of the ring and leave a voice mail so he could hear the complaints and boos of the more than 800 people in attendance. The booker then proceeded to give out Sid's cell number so they could personally call him an express their anger. Â Yep. Â Awesome! Â re: Jerry Lynn. Wonder if he'll do a 'retirement tour' like Dick Togo and Nigel McGuinness. It seems to be the 'in' thing at the moment. Â If so, gotta get him on some UK dates. Moderators Astro Hollywood Posted March 10, 2012 Moderators Share Posted March 10, 2012 How's Jerry Lynn looking these days? He's almost 50, so I'm wondering how the long haired rocker look is holding up.

Stone Cold Jane Austen
Still as gross and outdated as ever, then.
cobystag
Last time I saw him live was I think 09? Had a great match with El Generico and everything I saw from ROH/TNA since then showed that he can still go.

moofasa
Jerry Lynn's always looked about 50. His look hasn't changed since he was doing jobs in the AWA in 88.
Stone Cold Jane Austen
Which explains why he seems like the most boring holder of every title he's had.
Dirty Eddie
Lynn actually looking a lot different here, in a really old one. Â To be fair he had mid length hair and no beard when he turned up in ECW, but then stuck with the long-hair/beard combo for over a decade after that. Â Jerry's last run in TNA showed that these days he's a far better wrestler than RVD. He showed Rob up big-time in those tag matches they had with and against AJ and Daniels. He must be pretty banged up these days, he's worked a bloody hard style for a long time (though thankfully he seems to have cut down his bookings a lot over the last few years). Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted March 10, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted March 10, 2012 Looked even more different here: Lynn had enemies in the big promotions though. He probably could have been a decent mid level talent in WWF if there wasnt knives out for him as soon as he joined. But Benoit, Jericho, Guerrero, Malenko and a few others had it in for him, by all accounts. He was sent home from a New Japan tour that those lads were on with him, and they thought he was a pussy about it. So I doubt the road agents were hearing many good words from the boys at the time. Especially with Heyman (who didnt like him either) joining pretty much the same week he did. Â Size and shit hair is bad enough, without power players putting a bad word in for you. Paid Members Tommy! Posted March 11, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted March 11, 2012 Why did Heyman not like him? Â I don't know about him not liking him but I've heard one story, from an interview with Lynn so take it for what you will, that Hayman was reluctant to pull the trigger on him winning the belt for one reason or another. When he finally did Lynn took the opportunity to ask for some money he was owed and the next month he was dropping the belt to Corino.
