patiirc
On the back of the death of a clubber in Northampton last week, Luminar Leisure, owner of the Liquid, Envy, Lava Ignite, Oceana and other clubs has gone into administration, with trading losses of over
Wrasslin
I don't know about Brit Wrestling but Comedy is taking a knock. Â 11 Jongleurs venues are tied in with them.
Moderators PowerButchi Posted October 27, 2011 Moderators Share Posted October 27, 2011 Good. I fucking hate Liquid, and I hate the way I always end up there.
Moderators Chest Rockwell Posted October 27, 2011 Moderators Share Posted October 27, 2011 It can only be a good thing. Those places are all shit.
Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted October 27, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted October 27, 2011 Good. The Liquid & Envy near us recently closed down, meaning less chav clubber scum on a Friday and Saturday night round here. Â Mind you, it's still Redhill so it's hardly made a dent. Steve Justice
The only good thing to come out of the death of that poor girl was you could park in Argos car park free all weekend whilst the police were parked up taking statements and info. 80p an hour usually. Magnum
I struggle to understand why anyone pays to go to a nightclub these days with late bars open in virtually every town and city centre. The only point I can see in paying to get in somewhere is if they were vaguely discerning in the door policy and kept the scum count to a minimum, but most nightclubs in this country seem to have the opposite effect. Moderators neil Posted October 27, 2011 Moderators Share Posted October 27, 2011 The problem with those clubs closing down is that the idiots that go there will now be going somewhere else. Â Soon you'll all be calling for the rebirth of them.

My days of wanting to stop out until 4AM ended when I was about 26/27, but once you've paid a tenner to get into a club the chances are at least a couple of your group (usually the ones you're splitting a taxi with) will want to stay the distance to feel like they've 'got their money's worth'. So basically you end up paying well over the odds to end up stranded in a noisy, smelly warehouse sweatshop with a load of coked-up cunts.
