Do the players just have one stat and positions in which they can play in?  The positions your players are suited to are shown e.g CB/DM (Though I'm sure you understand that mikey!) They only have 1 stat.  You can play them wherever you wish, but you wont get the best out of them unless you play them where they're suited. If your having trouble, on your tactics page, as you drag and drop players into position, the lines around the slot your placing them will be either Green, Yellow or Red. Pace, Shooting, etc which is pretty standard in footy manager games. I love that it's simpler to play than footy manager has become but a small amount of stats would be nice.
