I remember Powerslam at the time totalling up the wage bill for that War Games match, as well. Was insane. Its probably fair to assume that 8 of the 9 guys were on $1+ million contracts at the time. Whether accurate or not, Im sure PS put Stevie Ray's number at around $750k a year as well. Maybe someone with more knowledge could add up all those guys 1998 contracts.

That's the third time in a little over a year that the WarGames 98 match has been included. From what I recall it was on the nWo set and (obviously) the WarGames set. Suprised they didn't stick it on the WCW PPV Vol.1 set too

It was also on the Rise and Fall of WCW and original nWo set too, although granted they weren't recent but I've watched all of them in the last year or two.

Here's a write up of it I found and i'll pop it in spoilers cos it's quite long

I went to WWE RAW in Seattle this evening and I am a BIG fan of your site.

The show was good, but it was what happened after the show that made the

entire evening VERY enjoying.

After the 8 man tag-match, Booker T, Taker and Golddust were in the ring

sulking after the defeat. Rocky had chased HHH out of the building and the

show ends. Taker grabs the mic and starts going off about how he was going

to stick his boot up Canada and Test's ass. He rants and raves for a few

mintues. Then as Booker T is leaving the ring, Taker tells him to get his

ass back in the ring because he has stuff he needs to talk about. Basically

we all thought he was going to attack Booker T because Booker got knocked

around in the entire match. Anyhow Taker explained to Booker T how the

people of Seattle came to see one thing and that was the "Spinarooni"

Booker gets down and does his little dance and then all of a sudden, he

looks at Taker and tells him that he needs to get something off HIS chest.

He then tells Taker that what the fans REALLY came to see was taker and his

"Takerrooni" Now, this mind you was about 2 mintues after they went off

air. What went on, lasted 40 minutes and we really dont know if it was

staged to sell tickets for tomorrow night's Smackdown! or if it was totally

random. The way Taker acted, it was completely random. Taker pulls a

junior high dance impersonation by standing up against the ropes saying he

wont do it, and he kept mouthing "I cant believe this." He then tells

Booker T that it'll be a cold day in hell before the fans see a

"Takerrooni", and kept saying "okay you got me" Now as he headed out of the

ring, Rock's music hits and he comes down the ramp and walks into the ring.

Grabs the mic and says for 13 damn years we've seen the Dead Man Walking and

now right here in Seattle, we want to see the Dead Man Spinning. Booker T

then shows Taker how to do the Spinarooni. He even pulls his "Taker"

version by laying down pretending he was dead and then sitting up, a la

taker back in the late 80's, putting his hand out, shaking his head and

spinning around. By now, Taker was smiling and laughing and Rock kept

telling him how all the people here would love to see it.

Triple H's music hits and he enters, and basically tells the Rock that he's

not here for any funny business, he justs wants to expereince this up close.

Basically the two of them leave "wrestling world" for a few minutes and

are BEST of friends. Triple H basically tells Taker that over the last 13

years, Taker has showed that he has had balls, and tonight he did not.

Triple H then says if Taker will do a "takerrooni" then he'll do a

"Triplerooni" Rock even chimed in and said "If he does it and you do it, I

might as well do a "Rockarooni" By this time the crowd is going CRAZY.

Now the Un-Americans come out. They are greeted with boos and they come in

peace to see Taker make an ass of himself. Triple H says they should either

stand there and watch or go to the back. So now, we're up to about 20

minutes after we go off air. Taker is too embarassed to do it and it was

like watching a bunch of middle school boys trying to convice one of their

friends to go ask the pretty girl to dance.

All of a sudden, "NO CHANCE" hits and out walks CEO Vinny McMahon. Vince

comes out and tries to get Taker to do the "takerrooni". Booker T then shows

in slow motion, how to do the move. Golddust even steps in and does one

himself. Vince then says, if he does it, then Taker has to. So Vince gets

down and pulls the DUMBEST "Vincearooni" that anyone has EVER seen. Triple

H steps in and says "Vince you are the whitest person I know." Now that

Vince has done it, HHH gets down and does it. Vince then promptly states

that we've seen the "Spinarooni", the "Vincearooni", the "Triplerooni" and

the "Faggarooni" (referring to Golddust) So all of a sudden, Taker seems

like he is going to do it, he pussies out and choke slams HHH and teh

Un-Americans fight and eventually leave the arena with taker chasing them on

his bike. Now that its said and done, Vince leaves. Now HHH, Rock, Booker

and Golddust are in the ring and Rock goes to leave, but Booker says we

havent seen the "Rockarooni" yet. This prompts Triple H to grab the mic and

say..."Finally....The Rock....HAS...no...balls." Golddust starts laughing

and Rock says "out of everybody, I dont want you thinking about my balls."

So Rock gets down and does his Rockarooni as the crowd goes crazy. Then all

of a sudden Triple H attacks him and Rock, Rockbottoms him but he is laying

east-west rather than north-south. All of a sudden Triple H moves north

south so rock can pull off the People's elbow. It was very hilarious to see

Triple H just move for no reason. Anyhow Rock pulls off People's Elbow,

both he and Triple H leave with triple H getting in the last words of "I

hate you Rock" and to the crowd "I hate you all."

End!

Didn't know where else to ask this. What's the score with FightDVD? The newest UFC release is UFC 166 which took place in October and there's no 'Coming Soon' bit anymore. Is FightDVD going the way of Silvervision now then?

yeh its stopping selling UFC dvds, they stuck a thing on facebook saying that once they sell the stock they have, thats it.

Greatest faction of all time is the nWo hands down. They should have been on the cover

Four Horsemen IMO. (85-88)

Greatest factions Set looks awful tbh, poor choice of matches too.
