Paid Members wandshogun09 Posted September 9, 2010 Paid Members Posted September 9, 2010 Yeah man fucking great stuff tonight from Eastenders. And Steve McFadden deserves all the awards he gets for his performance as a crackhead/alchy.He did it so well I could swear he was really using the stuff. How do you fake looking that off your tits with the glassy eyes and everything? themagman Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 But will Phil survive? McFadden is doing panto at Xmas so must be leaving at some stage. Quote
Steveo2007 Posted September 9, 2010 Author Posted September 9, 2010 I was just going to bump this thread myself. Amazing episode, Crackhead phil has been some of the best acting I've ever seen on Eastenders. Will be sad to see Peggy go tomorrow, but at least she doesn't die and will allow for a return sometime in the future. Quote
Gatso Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 Argh I really hate it when characters are re-casted, especially if they are older too. Here is the new Lauren Branning... http://www.bbc.co.uk/eastenders/news/10080...ine-jossa.shtml Completely different to the one who's left and to think she would even change that much in a few months puts me right off, could understand a few years maybe but its painful already. I actually thought the young actress who played Lauren was good as well, likewise with Lucy who is also leaving and being replaced. Quote
patiirc Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 (edited) likewise with Lucy who is also leaving and being replaced. I understand this is because of her diva like behaviour and her out of control 'socialising' Edited September 10, 2010 by patdfb Quote
BionicRedneck Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 Phil was on sparkling form last night. Here is the new Lauren Branning... http://www.bbc.co.uk/eastenders/news/10080...ine-jossa.shtml The old Lauren Branning was jailbait and the new one looks about 25. I'm confused. Quote
Just Me Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 I missed last night's fire episode (along with every other episode of the past decade, bar the live one), but thought tonight's departure for Peggy was great stuff. Quote
Steveo2007 Posted September 10, 2010 Author Posted September 10, 2010 Definitely a really emotional episode. Quote
Paid Members ReturnOfTheMack Posted October 18, 2010 Paid Members Posted October 18, 2010 Holy fuck! I cant believe how much tit Rosie just had on show. Quote
Mab Posted October 19, 2010 Posted October 19, 2010 Cracking pair of tits, but at the same time annoying as fuck. Quote
WU LYF 4 LYF Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 Haven't watched Corrie for years, except for the odd episode, but just shed buckets for Jack Duckworth's death. Am I alone? Quote
Gatso Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 I read yesterday that the actor who plays Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden?) got arrested in North London. Even in real life you would probably think twice if you were arresting him or saw him in jail. Quote
Paid Members ReturnOfTheMack Posted November 8, 2010 Paid Members Posted November 8, 2010 Haven't watched Corrie for years, except for the odd episode, but just shed buckets for Jack Duckworth's death. Am I alone? I watched it and admit I cried. However now Im watching it with the wife and Im welling up again. Im a fucking softy. Quote
Steveo2007 Posted November 9, 2010 Author Posted November 9, 2010 Two thoughts from watching Corrie for the first time in years last night. #1 That molly's a bit weird looking #2 Jacks death was by far one of the most superb deaths I've ever seen in a soap. So beautifully done. Quote
