Paid Members Surf Digby Posted January 8, 2014 Paid Members Posted January 8, 2014 It was good on the first viewing or so, but it got ripped apart on YouTube for an edit just before it the creature appears. I've not seen it mentioned anywhere since. Quote
Paid Members Egg Shen Posted January 8, 2014 Paid Members Posted January 8, 2014 any links to that footage Mike? Off the subject but i watched a documentary on Netflix the other day called 'I Know What I Saw', it's one of the best UFO related documentaries i've seen. It pretty much revolved around the documentary maker visiting pretty respected individuals who have reported sightings and asking their stories. It also goes into a UFO commission type deal where all these people (pilots, army chiefs etc), ask for the government to look into these sightings or simply admit that they wern't lying. It's worth a look simply because none of the people involved seem like the usual whacked out loons that usually see shit. Quote

I'm always wary of 'respectable' UFO documentaries because eye-witness testimony is, unfortunately, bunk. It doesn't matter how respectable the citizen. It's also always worth bearing in mind that 'unidentified' isn't a synonym for 'alien'. Quote
Richie Freebird Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 I saw one once where some American woman claimed that aliens had been taking her up to their flying saucers and knobbing her, and that she had given birth to a human / alien hybrid baby girl that was now a few years old. The aliens periodically brought back the daughter to see her during her continuing abductions, so she said. I think the point of it was "these people aren't actually telling lies as such because they really believe this tripe to be true in their own minds", rather than one of the ones that tries to make out that alien abductions might be real, though. Keith Houchen Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 And here's this years obligatory Bigfoot story that will "prove once and for all that it exists", fail to do so, and not even be referred to as an example of a credible sighting in two years time. http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/2014/01/06...ref=mostpopular Douche bag thinks he shot big foot. http://www.mnn.com/lifestyle/arts-culture/...ody-to-prove-it Douche bag didn't read the last page. That's pretty much the way the documentary goes, the talk isn't really of aliens, it's more 'i want to know what it was'. Quote
