  1. You mean you would if you didn't?
  2. Wankind. Lorne, hold the door a sec.
  3. First thing I thought when I saw that pic. Looks like a fusion of Ricky Tomlinson and John Goodman. Jocky Goodlinson.
  4. I'd tell him to give his head a wobble, but it'd just be playing into his hands.
  5. For me, it's probably Marco Pierre White. A Tory and a temperamental dickhead, but I can't help but like how he comes across - he's intense, but also mixes in humour when you don't expect it, leaving you wondering if he's actually joking or serious about something ridiculous.
  6. This talk of clubbering has me thinking that Haku might have been a world champion now. Not a talker, but wouldn't need to be. I think Steve Blackman might have had a higher profile too, though not main event level. Probably IC.
  7. If we're doing the AJPW Giant Gram game series guys, I'd have liked to see "Jungle" Jim Steele in his role of Wolf Hawkfield from Virtua Fighter - in this day and age of Kenny Omega and videogame references, he'd have fit in nicely. Wonder how Stan Hansen would've done as well?
  8. Ah, of course! I'd forgotten about DJ Gabriel - had just folded him in with Justin. He's known for his Sledgehammer
  9. That's the downside of Chute Boxe guys, @wandshogun09 - absolute bloody savages!
  10. No need to apologise! I love random match-ups; I just thought maybe there was something I was missing. MJF vs. Goldberg in a Kosher Rules Streetfight
  11. Umaga vs. Samoa Joe would've been for the ages. Thing about Jazz was that, back then, they only pushed badass women as monsters, and she wasn't huge enough to be a bigger deal in that regard. But now that they recognise that there aren't only two types of women in wrestling, she could've been just a simple shit-kicker in a Stone Cold or Samoa Joe vein. He did well given his issues, but prime Scott Hall or Razor Ramon now would've been massive, I'm sure of it. Man could always work, but you don't get that kind of sleazy charisma every day.
  12. I like Feng Chen, pizza chef who shills for Gozney:
  13. Sorry to ruin the gag, but can you explain the connection? I remember Raj Ghosh, but don't know what he has in common with Megaman.
  14. Not having kept an eye on things WWE, have to ask: wasn't Jinder Mahal quite quickly raised from a jobber to world champ? I know McIntyre had some time between 3MB and the main event.
  15. Fair enough. It just feels like there's something missing in his "legend story", as it were, for somebody from the Rock & Wrestling era. I suppose I had to have been watching at the time to really get it.
  16. I don't understand why Bundy wasn't a bigger deal. He was solid in the ring, had a great villain look, and was really quite good on the mike - his promo style was articulate, intelligent, but also menacing.
  17. That's on my Tinder profile
  18. Look how over he was! Why didn't they bring him back as a regular? EDIT: Not a good match, though - Quake's great as always, but why was he leaving his feet (aside from the dropkick and splash) for that no-mark? I've never heard of Tank Meloche until today. Was he supposed to be wrestling face? More importantly, I can't tell if he was meant to be a jobber or more than, because he came out to music and was allowed to go toe-to-toe with Quake in weight and strength, despite showing all the personality of a courgette. Mind you, the pop for the finish - I was looking forward to that. Still don't understand why they didn't bring him back. He was clearly still much loved.
  19. Beamish used to be a lot easier to get over here. Not everywhere, mind, but it was definitely present in a lot more pubs than it is now. Think I remember adverts on TV for it too. Also TIL that the Beamish museum has nothing to do with the beer at all.
  20. The other thing to take into account is that, with enough time and TV exposure, a wrestler can have an advanced, nuanced gimmick that works purely because the crowd have progressed with him over the years. Nobody could have said what Triple H was in 2000, without the previous journey the crowd had been with him on leading up to that. Same with The Rock and Stone Cold.
