Okay thats Crush but I think The Undertaker is Brian Lee - would still be interested to know the story behind this though.
Hail
  A lot of the Attitude era stuff hasn't aged well, but this was an exciting watch when I stumbled over it a few days back.  Sunday Night Heat from 24/01/99 (Royal Rumble Pre-Show)  Always loved it when the Sunday night shows were basically a pre-show/lead in to the Pay-Per View. You got a sneak peak at the set, usually a decent lower card match and maybe even an angle to setup the big show. Its a wonder they don't bring back Heat as a Sunday Night Lead-in on the Network for Pay-Per Views, the current PPV Pre-Shows have the occasional decent bout but the talking heads for most of the hour usually has me skipping it entirely.  It would just be the same as the Kickoff Show, but with a different name, so what would be the point?  As above the current pre-shows tend to only have one bout and about 45 mins of inane panel talk. Was proposing a return to the Heat style pre-shows of old.
The Dart
OK but I assume there's a reason they only did that for about a year, then turned Heat into what is basically the kickoff show now, but with a completely pointless 3 minute match, instead of a storyline based 10 minute match we usually get now. Hail
OK but I assume there's a reason they only did that for about a year, then turned Heat into what is basically the kickoff show now, but with a completely pointless 3 minute match, instead of a storyline based 10 minute match we usually get now.  Oh don't get me wrong i don't believe for a minute they actually would go and do it, just stating it would be nice to have a Heat style show leading in on Sunday nights on the Network.  The reasoning for ditching the format was clearly financial. If you look at the current crop of 1hr C Shows available on the network (Superstars, Main Event, This Week in WWE etc.) they all have international distribution deals and are bringing in some cash on the side to pay for themselves. Add that to the fact that WWE already tapes matches for those shows prior to a 3hr Raw and 2hr Smackdown and there's little room for matches for another show without burning the crowd out. Paid Members garynysmon Posted August 10, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted August 10, 2015   Big WCW fan back in the day and yet literally never knew of the existence of these events until today - http://lostmedia.wikia.com/wiki/WCW_Internet-only_Special_Events_and_PPVs_(Lost_1997-1998_Audio_Streams)  It seems some of the footage from the actual events have been uploaded to youtube, worth a watch for nostalgia alone.  https://youtu.be/pBiJSKOzAwU  Bearing in mind how WCW got trounced in the end, it may sound odd to say this, but WCW often came across as the more innovative of the "big two". I'll fondly remember WCW as being more willing to take a risk and try new things, whether they worked or not. As a kid, the WCW pay per view sets and settings were almost always more interesting and colourful (i.e wrestling on an actual beach, spring break, Halloween Havoc sets etc). I suppose they benefitted from a Kevin Dunn type who'se vision has been fully allowed to manifest by now that everything must look as perfect and glossy as possible.  Anyway, before I go too far on a tangent, here's a shite Kevin Nash promo

DJM
NXT Kids: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x31opue  It has Corey Graves and a couple of kids on commentary and looks like it could be something similar to Saturday Morning Slam.   "A 20-minute pilot for an episode of "WWE NXT Kids" has been uploaded to Vimeo by a user named Christian Silva (it has since been taken down from Vimeo, but someone uploaded it to dailymotion). It appears to be an official WWE pilot as Silva has done many WWE videos in the past and currently works for the company. Silva's LinkedIn profile lists him as a current WWE employee and freelancer." Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted August 22, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted August 22, 2015 Arguably the biggest star in the companies history and without question the guy who dragged the promotion up from drawing half empty buildings, and Steve Austin gets this amount of time on the WWE History DVD. Liam O'Rourke
So many things to say about that London vid, but I'll just say he deserves a medal for doing a shooting star press off that washing line of a top rope.
