I don't remember that specifically, but I'd guess Bigelow was just one of the many guys brought in to be victims of the Path Of Rage~. Around that time, the money he'd have wanted to go full-time might have been prohibitive for ECW or maybe he had other offers and didn't want to hang around or any number of other things. I certainly don't remember him as an ECW regular through most of 1997.

Bam Bam's only other 1996 appearance in ECW I can remember is the match with Terry Gordy - Bam Bam vs Bam Bam.I don't think he started full-time until summer 1997, immediately joining the Triple Threat.

Question:Did AJPW have some sort of arrangement with WCW back in the early 00's? I'm asking because I recently watched a Triple Crown match involving Keiji Mutoh and Scott Hall, who was decked out in his Wolfpac Kliq attire. If so, to what extent was this arrangement, and did any other notable matches happen because of it?

I think their match happened after Hall had been fired by WCW. Either way Hall has a habit of wearing his old gear. When he had a match with John Tenta for Tenta's promotion he wore the Wolfpac gear but the Razor elbow pads! Random eh?

Wasn't he part of the Triple Threat in '97 w/ Douglas and Candido? Also, he had a series w/ Spike Dudley in the Summer of 1997 - actually, it prob only lasted a week - Born to be Wired to Hardcore Heaven.

His spike dudleys series went alot longer than a week, but may not have been a 1997 one....

I thought the Spike series was '98 as well. The '97 version of the Triple Threat was Candido, Douglas and Brian Lee. I have a great pic of them and me flashing the sign at the Cyberslam convention. :)

It was Tenta's promotion according to the article in Powerslam at the time. Plenty of pictures and Hall was looking super-rough at the time - unsurprisingly.

But didn't Brian Lee leave the Triple Threat (and ECW) by being the fake Rick Rude at Barely Legal? He went full time as Chainz in the WWF that summer.Bam Bam had already been in the Triple Threat before his match with Douglas at November To Remember 1997.
