Over half of them with no grasp of the basics, aura farming and hitting their poses rather than executing the basic fundamentals of the match. Depressingly, the most interesting aspect of Money in the Bank these days is in how quickly they get rid of the briefcases. For instance, would anyone be even remotely surprised if Roxanne Perez won the briefcase, Liv Morgan regained the Women’s Title, but then Roxanne immediately cashed in on the very same show? That’s if anyone makes it out of the Women’s match alive. The amount of inexperienced women in that match, and in the current form and headspace Sol Cara is in? Terrifying. Men’s match is more exciting. Felt like Penta’s to lose until Punk and Owens qualified. Now I suspect one of those two win, since the Smackdown main event picture is easily the best thing in the company right now. I’ll be rooting for my boy Owens, even if it feels positively mental to participate in a ladder match weeks after coming back from a year’s absence due to neck surgery. Wild how young J’von Evans is, yet he feels like the oldest, lamest person in the match. A real sense of, “how do you do, fellow kids?” about him, in that tragic 67 T-shirt. When did they last do the gimmick where someone Superplexes a fat lad and the ring implodes? They should do that with Oba Femi vs. Bronson Reed. Always rules. TheScarlettChad Posted Saturday at 11:40 AM Posted Saturday at 11:40 AM As I said in the Smackers thread. The men's MITB is hard to predict but the three main choices that have an actual chance of winning are Punk, Owens and Penta. I think Owens takes it, but Punk as three time Mr MITB would be a fun accomplishment to add to his accomplishments. Penta would be completely fresh and maybe he cashes in on Roman after Crown Jewel. If Owens wins, I wouldn't be shocked if he cashes in after Roman pins Sami at Crown Jewel. Quote

Especially since it was pointed out on commentary that it’s been 10 years since he was a champ. Anyone other than Je’Von Evans though. Can’t stand the guy. The only person in the women’s match I like is Jacey Jayne, but I can’t see her winning at all. God bless Saturday PPVs. Quote
Paid Members air_raid Posted Saturday at 12:29 PM Paid Members Posted Saturday at 12:29 PM It’s fucking bollocks how only half the stars turn up to these nowadays. Only two of the top champions booked immediately reduces the number of fun same-night cash in scenarios you could speculate over by half. And what’s the logic of Cody not wrestling? I think after the Rumble this is the PLE that suffers most from their current minimalist approach to actual matches. Dogwank. Quote
Paid Members Callum1993 Posted Saturday at 06:01 PM Paid Members Posted Saturday at 06:01 PM Really can’t see Punk or Owens winning the briefcase. Feels like they don’t really need it. Penta seems the most likely but wouldn’t be surprised if Breakker finally got that main event push. If Reigns/Knight had been the main event I could have seen Knight winning but no chance with it opening the show. Quote
thevestofdeanambrose Posted Saturday at 10:27 PM Posted Saturday at 10:27 PM Don't mean to live chat but Roman Reigns teeth are ridiculous. That is all. Quote
Merzbow Posted Saturday at 10:36 PM Posted Saturday at 10:36 PM Not watching it but yeah, they're far dafter than even the blue contacts he had that time. Surprised there hasn't been a PPV in Turkey yet, see all the guys coming out with surprisingly white chompers. Quote
Version1.0 Posted Sunday at 05:54 AM Posted Sunday at 05:54 AM LA Knight walking to the ring with boo boo face was the highlight for me. Hit a burning hammer, a table powerbomb, a top rope elbow and his BFT finisher and Roman kicked out of them all. Quote
