A quick browse of his wikipedia entry seems to portray him as the opposite end of the spectrum as the GBeebies crowd, but I know that stands for nothing these days. It could be all centrist dad "they;re all as bad as each other" nonsense and that trailer is doing him no favours. One of his specials is on his YouTube channel and the first ten minutes is ten minutes of my life I'm not getting back... Quote

It’s wider than standup, but I’ve been looking through the Fringe programme as shows for this year are announced, and it’s depressing how many shows are now using AI slop for their show pictures. It’s almost as bad as the “aren’t we wacky” improv group shot. Nothing’s more likely to put me off. And I like improv. The standups mostly looked interchangeable in this year’s programme. I think I counted six different Millennial white guys called Rob. Quote
