He's aware. I had to get some details for him to get the pot. It was still a crazy surprise. I'd imagine he was expecting the cost of a nice meal out in Vegas. That's certainly what I was aiming for!

What a lovely idea. Huge credit to Rick for even thinking of it. What a lovely gesture. One thing I love about this place is how it’s filled with genuinely brilliant people from all walks of life, and all over the country. This illustrates just how true that is. And @Ralphy - if you’re not in a position financially to donate, please don’t feel pressured to donate anything at all. You seem like a genuinely nice person, and no one will think any less of you if you can’t. Finances and budgets can be a shitty thing to deal with and I think everyone on here understands that.
