The results went into the opening post on Sunday night, and the table has since been figured out. It was a low-scoring round where the leader Stinky Dad and last-placed Chutney Spoon both stayed in the same spot, but with it being so early in the season, there was still a lot of movement in between. Vegeta was top scorer and the only participant into double figures and with more than one exact scoreline, while MVP RULZ not only kept up the tradition of being worst performer when getting a D2D bet wrong, but also managed to score nought in the process.

As The Owls succumbed to another meek home defeat at a near-empty Hillsborough, seven of the other eight players correctly disagreed with our resident Wednesday supporter. This feels like a good time to remind people that Dare 2 Disagree games aren't eligible to be selected as the "wildcard" fixture. Instead that honour went to match #10, the Big 3 clash in Portugal, where only the duo at the summit got the correct score of a 2-1 away win to hoard those extra bonuses for themselves.

Another brief reminder about tie-breakers: if you're wondering why TildeGuy isn't listed as level with Gooner (which would put the latter ahead on alphabetical order) despite them being level on both total points and three-pointers, it's because Tilde has earned more of his points normally, i.e. not from bonuses. This rule is designed to make bonus points seem less important, and yet Stinky has effectively broken the system this week, somehow garnering more bonuses than ordinary points from just one correct guess.

And one last bit of D2D housekeeping while we're at it: I received one more DM since the last update, so thanks for that. Only one person is yet to send me a list of picks so I presume they know who they are. Anyway, aside from the outcomes in the very similar locales of Lisbon and South Yorkshire, the low scoring was down to stalemates at Elland Road and Ibrox, narrow home victories for newly promoted sides in Asturias and on Wearside, plus Man City and Barcelona both failing to win on the road, all of which proved at least somewhat tough to foresee.

It was just the ticks in the positive column for the Merseyside giants which provided some amount of respite, then. Everybody will be hoping for better when the traditionally high-scoring international set of 10 goes live in the first post in a moment.

The final scores were up in the initial post on Monday night, and the table was recalculated straight after that. Despite the fact that nobody thought England would score only two goals against Andorra (so no bonuses for that scoreline), it was still a traditional high-scoring international round. Stinky remains in the lead, but by only a point over Vegeta.

Last week's bottom two - Chutney Spoon and MVP RULZ - were the joint top scorers this time out on a dozen points apiece, so we do finally have some change at the other end as worst performer Rory sinks to last place. The only bonus points went to reigning champion ultimo as he got the exact score right from the randomly selected "wildcard" fixture, Gibraltar vs the Faroes... which did actually take place in Gib rather than the Algarve, but I missed the fact that the England match had been moved from Wembley to Villa Park because of a Nazi rally Coldplay concert.

Anyhow, elsewhere wins for Germany, Scotland and Morocco all proved fruitful alongside a score draw in Dublin, with glorified training exercises for Portugal and Spain generally being good for one-pointers. Only the two outcomes in the domestic women's derbies turned out to be tougher to guess beforehand.

I've been more generous than usual with the D2D picks cut-off point, but there's only a week left so I'm afraid it's time to tag @Gooner as the one participant left who needs to get that sorted by messaging me. In the meantime, somebody who was organised enough to DM me over the summer will get their turn next week as men's top-flight club football returns. That game will feature next to nine others in a new card about to go live at the top of the thread in just a tick.
