Sharon's a cunt. Ozzy's best mate (he was on the Osbournes show) Geordie Tony lives next to my brother. He lived and worked with them for decades. And because Ozzy fucked around on his assistant and he didnt grass, he got the blame and was sacked. Ozzy has to basically stop seeing his best mate and assistant because Sharon had to blame someone for Ozzy's behaviour. Really nice bloke as well. What was he supposed to have done? Grass up his best mate and get sacked? Or ignore it and get sacked?

Yeah I'm not sure any wife would be happy to keep someone around who covered for her husband cheating on her.  It was definitely a lose/lose situation yeah, but it's not entirely unreasonable.

Just want to clarify my stance-

I’m not saying that Sharon “abused” Ozzy per se. Saying she pushed him out there over & over again was bad wording on my part.

I do however feel that she didn’t help things when Ozzy maybe should’ve been encouraged to call it a day, not just as his business manager but as his wife.
As I said before, I don’t doubt that he still enjoyed creating music, but the touring must’ve been absolute hell. For all I know he may have been up for doing it all, but I also don’t doubt there were situations where he’ll have said he’d have just been “thinking” about doing a new album/tour, and before you know it he’s booked into a studio and the following year has a six month block of dates booked all over the world. 

The Back To The Beginning show seemed to be a great day for fans and raised millions for charity in the process, that’s to be commended for all involved, including Sharon. An appearance at Midlands Comic Con the following week and charging people £666 for a photograph just reeks of being a money grab though, can’t find anything that shows that went to benefit the same charities.

I think Sharon is a ruthless, nasty piece of work (as someone said, very much in keeping with her dad, who was involved in all sorts of intimidation, violence, and dodgy business), but not particularly any moreso than a lot of other music industry bosses and managers of her vintage, but gets more heat on her partly for being a woman, and partly because she has allowed herself to become more of a celebrity in her own right. But if we're to start unpicking the shitty things she's done, then Ozzy's not really going to hold up to that kind of scrutiny either.

Her dad, Don Arden managed the Small Faces when they first started in the 60s as 17 year olds. They got paid a pittance even when they were topping the charts. When they had enough of this, the sought out a new manager. Robert Stigwood thought it would be a good idea to put his name out there. Arden and Co, paid him a visit, smashing a glass ashtray into a wall next to his face and dangling from a 2nd floor window by his ankles.
