Paid Members SpiritOfTheForest Posted December 19, 2024 Paid Members Posted December 19, 2024 On the Snowdonia theme, I was gifted this for my birthday recently. How it found its way to Sardinia, I don't know but it was utterly exceptional. Incredibly good. I've been dreaming about it since and have been looking everywhere for it but, alas, I haven't found it yet. If you like spicy and you like cheese then I cannot recommend this more. Christ, writing this has got me craving it all over again. Quote
Members SuperBacon Posted December 19, 2024 Members Posted December 19, 2024 Yep that was my favourite cheese last Christmas as well. Absolutely top tier. Quote

Paid Members ReturnOfTheMack Posted December 27, 2024 Paid Members Posted December 27, 2024 Every Christmas my wife buys me a truckle of Black Bomber. This year she found a 400g one, so I'm happy as a pig in shit right now. Aldi do a cracking truffle gouda. Quote
Paid Members Surf Digby Posted January 2, 2025 Paid Members Posted January 2, 2025 Bought a massive block of Red Leicester today. I've not had Red Leicester for a good few years, as I've just been cycling the variations of Cheddar and smoked cheeses. Quote
Paid Members Thunderplex Posted January 2, 2025 Paid Members Posted January 2, 2025 Very underrated Red Leicester. Cracking toasted or just in a plain sandwich. Quote

It's a very good toasting cheese, which was largely my reason for picking it up. It properly toasts, and doesn't just melt and go rubbery. Goes very well with tomato too. A cheese and tomato sandwich is somehow greater that its simplicity should allow. Quote
Merzbow Posted March 30, 2025 Posted March 30, 2025 I knew we had a cheese thread somewhere when I saw this video pop up, I think it's technically a Business Insider channel but it's all about food and they often have these UK vs USA wars. Of course the British cheeses are better, there's no comparison for the most part. Quote
Paid Members Surf Digby Posted March 30, 2025 Paid Members Posted March 30, 2025 How many American cheeses are actually cheese, and not just a cheese favoured full fat dairy product? Quote
