Two giant slugging it out, Sid doing a very decent crimson mask "He didn't quit!" spot, even the Outsider's beatdown look like the gang hit they were probably hoping it did. They'd never get there again - this might be the last night of it - but even this far into 1999 this looked and felt hot in the building. Quote

Have these ever been released in full before this? 1986… 1987… There’s also a 90 minute version of the 88 Crockett Cup gone up. Better than nothing but you can only assume they don’t have or can’t find the full version, which is a shame. Gonna try and watch all this when I can but 86 and 87 both run over 4 hours so fuck knows if I’ll ever get through it all. I love that this stuff is getting put out there though. The more the better. Paid Members JNLister Posted October 20, 2025 Paid Members Posted October 20, 2025 To confirm on the Crockett Cup: Pre WWE Network we just had the VHS releases which were all two hours of clips, though 1987 only had about 90 minutes from the shows and then three Magnum TA matches from previous events, while 1988 had the main event of the Bunkhouse Stampede 88. Tape traders also had unofficial footage of full matches from the second night of 1987 which was filmed while getting footage for a sports TV show. 1986 was then added to WWE Network as a Hidden Gem with complete, single-camera footage of every thing from the sixth match on. That's what's now on Vault/YouTube. 1987 is now on Vault as a full show for the first time. 90 minutes or so of 1988 is now on the Vault. It's basically the VHS tape minus the match intros and the Bunkhouse Stampede match. Quote
