Sadly can't invest in that right now but there do seem to be some good deals popping up quite regularly. Quote
Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted June 21, 2024 Author Paid Members Posted June 21, 2024 The worst email I get on a daily basis is the one from Steam telling me which 40 games on my wishlist have been discounted by 95% today. Today I was not strong enough to resist. When am I going to play all these ffs. Quote
Paid Members Jazzy G Posted June 22, 2024 Paid Members Posted June 22, 2024 I saw some steam decks and Asus ROG ally units on Vinted for ridiculously reasonable prices from very new sellers with incredibly bot looking names. I think I'll pass. Quote

Paid Members FLips Posted June 30, 2024 Paid Members Posted June 30, 2024 I picked some decent stuff up. Halo Master Chief Collection, Duke Nukem 3D, Command & Conquer Collection, Braid Remastered, Shadow of War GOTY, and Shadow of Mordor GOTY. I think about £30 all in all. Quote

Paid Members Jesse Posted June 30, 2024 Paid Members Posted June 30, 2024 I picked up a few of the smaller games I've had an eye on for a while: Caves of Qud, Dread Delusion, Indika & Void Stranger; as well as Dragon's Dogma 2 (loved the first one, know I'll want to play this soon) and all 4 years of season pass DLC for Snowrunner since I've 100%'d the base game now. Cleared the Elden Ring DLC this weekend, so now only Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth and my working pattern of 50-60 hour weeks stands between me and my new backlog. Quote

I'm sure I'll get round to it in around 2031. 2 hours ago, DavidB6937 said: Go on. Confess your sins to us.. I spent £60 - on 43 games in total. In my defence I had just won £180 on the football and I'm an idiot. But I didn't buy any old shit. Like I say, I got Braid and both Half Life games for a total of £1.58, Trine, Battleblock Theatre, Portal 2, Pang Adventures and a load of others that sound fun. Paid Members Scratch Posted July 1, 2024 Paid Members Posted July 1, 2024 (edited) I bought Steamworld Dig for 70p and Halo Spartan Assault for not much more. Edited July 1, 2024 by Scratch Quote
Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted September 7, 2024 Author Paid Members Posted September 7, 2024 MudRunner, which a few people on here seem to really like, is down from £18 to £3.59 at the moment. Here's what else I fucking bought in their latest round of mad sales. £30.03 for the lot. Quote
RedTwoster Posted September 7, 2024 Posted September 7, 2024 (edited) Splasher is superb, great choice there! I’ve not played the rest, but it’s a good haul for that price. Edited September 7, 2024 by RedTwoster Quote
Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted September 22, 2024 Author Paid Members Posted September 22, 2024 So I finally bought one as they had some outgoing models on offer and it's great and I've been playing Spelunky on it and it's great. I tried setting up RetroArch on it and I'm not going to do that anymore because I will throw it through the window. I actually will. YouTube needs to stop recommending me tutorial videos as well. Dr. Alan Grant Posted November 28, 2024 Posted November 28, 2024 This seems like an opportune moment for @RedTwoster to magically appear and recommend Steam games in the Black Friday sale. Quote
