That line always reduces my mum to tears. There are some lines that only work with certain accents, and only someone with a northern accent can pull that one off. Quote

DAS JACKPOT! Yeah I'm sure that jogged my memory, and it's one of those I feel like I should've seen, but have never bothered due to the length, waheeeeeeeey. Quote

Is it worth bothering with? I really liked the third one. It's not as good as the first but better than the second. The animal abuse stuff is fairly central to the story but it doesn't take up that much of the run time in the grand scheme of things. I've watched it three or four times now and blubbed at the ending every time. Edited May 24, 2024 by cobra_gordo Quote

Was wanting to watch it but never got round to it, got nothing much on tomorrow and probably missed peoples opinions on it in the film thread can anyone vouch for it? It's a fantastic movie. Well worth a watch. I saw it the day it came out last December and had the whole screen to myself. Some of the older Kaiju movies can get really hackneyed and corny, but Godzilla Minus One is incredible. Some of the twists you can see from a mile off, but they don't make the pay-off any less satisfying. @FLips Guardians 3 was fun. Cosmo is a great character. The animal scenes aren't the most comfortable viewing, but that's kind of the point, and they're pretty intégral to the plot. Edited May 24, 2024 by Jazzy G Quote
Paid Members Carbomb Posted February 10 Paid Members Posted February 10 I just saw this recommendation on BlueSky. I've saved it, but I also figured I'd bookmark it here. I didn't want to read too much of the review for fear of spoilers, but the first few paragraphs have me intrigued to see it. Quote

On another note BW/DR is full of fantastic writing. Quote

Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted February 10 Paid Members Posted February 10 It's sort of in the spirit of this thread - has anyone seen the Exit 8 film? I really want to watch it but I also really want to play the game but it strikes me as the sort of game that works much better without spoilers. Anyone help me out? Quote

It’s currently free if you have PS Plus Extra, glad it was free as I finished it in about 3 minutes. Quote
