I was referring to the backlash he got in general rather than the general consensus he's not funny on this forum. Which I agree, he isn't very funny but I'd be lying if I could recall a single show I've seen him on.

Bowlers put his latest match on Facebook recently, it's as fucking dire as you're imagining. For someone who's been "training in the right way" for three years (code for sometimes I go down the MMA gym and pay a local jobber £10 to teach me how to bump incorrectly) it's absolutely awful

I mean a tenner deposit that is put towards the final price is hardly fleecing.

 

We usually give refunds under many circumstances as for the sake of a tenner, we'd rather keep our fans.  Basically before we pay someone to do a meet and greet, we want guaranteed interest so we dont take a bath.  Asking who is interested means fuck all.  Ask for a small deposit and you get a good idea if its worth it or not.

We arnt fucking comic con when we know people will come! 

Seems like people had a great time though, so isnt that the main thing?

Sorry. I was referring to the fact the price wasn’t known when the non refundable deposit was taken. That’s the carny bit. Not the deposit part. You could have said it was 100 quid per person after they deposits had been taken (and I’m guessing the final individual M&G price was determined by interest).

I don't get it, I mean back in 2004 when we were full of members and probably all younger and angrier but really we're a tiny group of middle aged men and women obsessed with chippy tea's who do weird shits and occasionally talk about wrestling. We should not be anyone's target demographic except a greasy spoon or armitage shanks.
