"His mania is not confined to the ring" is one of those lines I sometimes think of at random and start chuckling to myself. That episode is incredible. When the Pigeon Boys make their entrance I was in literal tears of laughter the first time I watched it.

"Oh, you have kids?"

*long pause*

Da Maniac: No...not anymore.

Perfect line delivery.

So haunting, and they discuss it on the pod. Did he kill his kids?

The funniest tidbit, if you don't have time to watch the podcasts, is that he had a whole speech lined up in the back of the car but the driver didn't know and sped off so Roddy going "wait wait wait" was all genuine ?

For all the shite Piper rightly gets for his acting, that bit with Da Maniac is some mad lightning in a bottle shit where comedy acting and 'pro wrestler performance' acting weirdly meshes perfectly and adds a genuinely delightful unknown layer.

Or he just read it pretty ok. I'm going bed.

Didn't know Piper was considered a bad actor, that's genuinely news to me. Never forget he was one of the best Invigaron salesman of all time as well.

Here are a couple of Rob and Dennis, sorry, Glenn's ding dongs from the pods. To be honest Rob does come across a bit condescending sometimes.

Listening to the podcast I get the sense that Rob is a natural leader and someone who likes vigorous challenge and debate. People like that naturally piss other people off on occasion.

My main takeaway though is that I bloody love them and wish they were my mates.

100% and as the creator, its clear that he takes the most hands on approach with FX, partnership deals, the pod was his (and Megs) idea etc and they actually talk about that quite a bit, and in fact Glenn says how much he admires that quality in him.

It's just so funny that Glenn is pretty mild mannered, but the Dennis comes out in him so quickly.

They're the best aren't they? I'll have the pod on going to sleep and it always massively relaxes me. I'm actually missing the pod more than the show!

I downloaded a bunch of the podcasts on to my phone and listened to them for the first time whilst giving birth/staying in hospital with my second child..... No wonder he's a lunatic. It will forever hold an extra special place for me.

Completely forgot I put this on a playlist and it came on shuffle today.

One of my all time favourite Dennis moments.

"This storm is going to be bad, as you know, so why not be at the bar with me, um, and, you know, for the good of the race?"

I can't find a clip but in the episode with the roof jumper where Frank goes on the news with Jackie Denardo and starts screaming at Dennis with a mouthful of food is one of the hardest times I've laughed.

@SuperBacon find me the clip please.
