Maddison was going to be the token sentimental Spurs selection for this years team, Stanway To Heaven. Oops! Always next year.

James Maddison is a baller. That’s all.

I would be delighted to drop this same sentiment every week until it’s no longer relevant. Or until it becomes damaged.

Forest's first away win since January 4th, and it couldn't come against a better team now that Leeds have been relegated.

Our good preseason with four at the back was completely pointless if we're just going to start the season lining up with three centre backs anyway. I can't make enough sense out of the formation to tell if they're actually all playing as CBs, if they're not it's even stupider, Colwill's ending up left back most of the time and doesn't look comfortable there, on or off the ball. Along with whatever we're trying and failing to do with Chilwell, that whole left side's been sandbagged by a terrible plan so far. It's going to take months to make a cohesive team out of this mental squad anyway, but if we can't even put out a side that should work on paper yet, it's going to be another rough ride.

I don't want to be presumptuous, but I reckon I can speak for everyone on here (Chelsea fans excluded) when I say that we would all really enjoy that.

Got a lot of time for Steve Cooper

“Whilst we’re obviously going to miss Brennan and the memories he’s given so many of us when he’s lit up the City Ground on the right wing, we’re extremely proud of him and we’re pleased that he’s got this move as he enters the next stage in his career.

Everyone knows how great he is on the pitch, but what many people don’t see is the kind, humble and genuine young man he is off it. He was always learning, always showed great humility and had a superb nature in the way he interacted with his teammates and staff.

All credit must go to his family especially his mum and dad, Alison and David, who should be so proud of the incredible young man they have raised. He will be missed by everyone, but he will always be a Red."

Had a famous American YouTuber sitting behind me at the Racecourse today. I don’t mind moving out of my seat which I inhabit 30 or so times a season to let a 7 year old get a selfie. But grown fucking men? Fuck off!

He’s the fucking worse one. Find out where he’s staying so I can go and kick him in the balls for that awful World Cup song my lad listened to on loop for about 3 weeks.
