Was looking out for this one after Haley Stevens video endorsing Mike Rogers, despite claiming she's a Democrat. Daft cow would rather endorse a bigot in the opposition than a brown person in her own party.

Seeing all these intelligent, highly capable, moral, likeable millennial left wing American politicians like Mamdani, AOC, El-Sayed, Ossof and Talarico is not only inspiring but also depressing that we have literally no remotely exciting up and coming politicians in our country at all.

I was joking with my sister a couple of weeks ago (as Mamdani's Instagram has become my internet happy place) that he can't run for President in the US because he wasn't born there but we have no such rules in the UK, he would be welcome to come and run here. Maybe Arsenal could entice him over the pond?!

I had a great time watching all the segments from a lot of the nightly US shows this morning. Despite all these people talking about the "shillacking" the GOP got, I can't get over the fucking state of American TV people. I have to do courses at work to see if I can pick out an AI from a real person. I can't even pick out real people from real people with this lot. Top middle looks like the next mayor of Lazytown. Top right is a Fast Show skit.

I didn't even know he wasn't born in the States to be honest. Remember years ago when all the republicans wanted to change the constitution to allow Arnie to run, I'm sure they'd do the same for Mamdani

The current mob of Republicans wouldn't do that for Arnie; he's practically a communist to them now.

My dad's really chuffed about Mamdani - back during the Anti-Apartheid movement era, my dad worked with various publishers and organisations across the global South, and he stayed a few times with Zohran's father while setting up leftie/socialist/anti-colonialist book fairs in Uganda.
