Paid Members Gus Mears Posted January 21, 2024 Paid Members Posted January 21, 2024 Fucking Monsters Inc. Again. I'm going to have to ban that and Up being shown in the Mears house, I end up like a broken fire hydrant. Quote
deathrey Posted January 21, 2024 Posted January 21, 2024 To be honest @Gus Mearsit's a top quality film, so it's not really your fault. Quote
Members SuperBacon Posted June 18, 2024 Members Posted June 18, 2024 This is absolutely lovely. What a gem. Quote
CharlesTuckerTheThird Posted June 18, 2024 Posted June 18, 2024 There's a song from the animated show Vox Machina, the character that sings it is a sex-obsessed amoral reprobate but it got me the first time I heard it and it still gets me now. Quote
Chili Posted June 18, 2024 Posted June 18, 2024 The Fattest Man in Britain. Not the documentary, but the Caroline Aherne written comedy drama with Tim Spall in the lead. The bit where he finally leaves the house after 20 years since his mam died, to find this young lady who looked after him, whilst some Badly Drawn Boy soundtrack plays in the background had me in fucking bits. It's at 1:24:40 on this and I'm absolutely not going to watch it and ruin my evening again. It is brilliant though. Quote

Members SuperBacon Posted February 24, 2025 Members Posted February 24, 2025 Genuinely had a little cry on the bus when I saw this. Quote
CDM Posted February 24, 2025 Posted February 24, 2025 The crowd singing Adam copelands sing did make me a bit emotional. Two reasons mainly. First of all his reaction. He looked like he was trying not to cry himself, and also because I was looking forward to singing it at all in. Obviously he was unfortunately injured. Hopefully he won't get injured this year for forbidden door Quote

I bet Tony Hawk never in a million years would have thought he would share a grandchild with the man he was watching on stage. Quote
Paid Members gmoney Posted February 24, 2025 Author Paid Members Posted February 24, 2025 (edited) Not going to lie, skim reading that at first I thought Tony Hawk had a kid with Frances Cobain and was wishing Kurt was around to be a granddad for his child. I was a little weirded out by that given he's of age with Kurt pretty much. Thankfully I have now read it properly and done my research and now can share the heart warmth. Members SuperBacon Posted March 9 Members Posted March 9 I don't think it's that weird, but I cry at every single episode of First Dates. It's genuinely one of my favourite shows, and tonight had an elderly couple on it, the lad started singing to her, they both said yes to a second date, and walked out holding hands. And I went, blubbing all over the gaff. God, that blonde waitress is fit as well eh? Quote
