It's got to be their year. They came so close under Sarri, but they're in such a healthy position right now. Napoli winning Serie A, Argentina winning the World Cup...all we need is Shilton to be outed as a nonce then you have one hell of a tribute to Maradona.

There is only one team that can fuck this right up, and that is Napoli.

The Everton owner, says it's not his decision if Frank Lampard gets sacked or not.

Great accountability for the shambles he's left the club in.

Lampard says he doesn't fear the sack, so sounds like he's just as miserable and wants putting out of his misery.

Be very interested to see where they go from here. Keep Lampard and give him money to spend on signings. Or ditch him, find someone new and give them money to try and paper over the tracks. Just to keep them in the league.

Fucking hell. What a game, I don't think my heart can take this season. United gave us more problems in that first half than any team this season (they were better than when they actually beat us), but what a performance.

Nketiah is doing an incredible job with Jesus out and Tomiyasu was much better at keeping Rashford quiet. With Trossard looking lively when he came in, that depth is looking alright at the moment. Just pray our centre midfield stays injury-free.

5pts clear, game in hand (against Everton) and have looked better than every team they've played so far. It all comes down to City. They're still favourites for me because we have to play them twice, but if we keep this lead until next month and beat City...maybe. Just maybe.

Yeah it’s horrible when that happens. At least the fans haven’t got too far to get home though. Every cloud.

Our couple of weeks in the title race was fun while it lasted. Ten Hag with Ole levels of not knowing when to bring the right subs on. That’s two late goals in two games that we’ve now conceded and dropped points. We’ve always got the league cup to win.

This feels like an unnecessarily negative viewpoint. The improvement this season has been incredible, Ten Hag has everything and everyone moving in the right direction and we really had no right to be getting ideas of being in a title race this season. Could have been a little different if we weren't missing Casemiro today and hadn't played in London midweek while Arsenal were preparing for this game. It's a game of very fine margins.

Have to give the credit to Arsenal though, they were brilliant again. That was a far tougher game than City gave us last weekend. I can really see them going the distance now. It's a hell of a points total to have at the halfway stage.

He has. We’ve been playing very well lately. But he’s made some poor decisions the past two games and it has cost us. We should’ve closed both them games out for a win and a draw. I don’t think anyone really thought we were contenders for the title. It’s been mostly tongue in cheek.

He's doing a terrific job, I mean that sincerely. United are hard to play against, and not in a way like Burnley of Arabia are. They threatened a lot, especially during that first half but even in the second half you knew at any moment they were capable of hitting us on the break and causing problems.

He's got Shaw playing well again and dragged AWB from the brink of obscurity. Eriksen has been a great bit of business (thought he was a bit shit today, but otherwise he's been very good). Ten Hag is the kind of appointment United should have made years ago, certainly after Moyes went and arguably before then. Obviously not him specifically back then, he was still probably assistant to Sscchteve McLaren at Twente, but an appointment along those lines.

Ole on the other hand, was way out of his depth from day 1 and a characteristic PSG capitulation glossed over that fact.
