Dubois' resume is looking pretty can. Good nowadays.

Miller, Hrgovic, AJ, Wardley. All stopped, all battered. And Dubois, I had to check this, is only 28?!?!?! Which would have made him 22 when he lost to Joyce.

I wonder how Fury's resume holds up Vs Dubois, I would say they are pretty close, considering Fury popped dirty after the Klitschko win.

Dubois Vs Itauma for a World Title later this year would work. Could it fill Wembley or maybe Spurs?

Whisper it quietly, but Dubois possibly, maybe even probably, has the best resume since Lewis as regards top British Heavyweight. And all before 30.

Although it's Skelton or Sprott for me., personally.

Right now I think you could make an argument for any of Dubois, Fury or AJ having the better resume.

Sprott and Skelton comfortably on top of that list though.

I tell you what, Dubois has the best resume ever for a boxer labelled as a coward and bottle job by most fans.

Anyone giving ol' Dave Allen a snowball's chance in hell this weekend:

Feels like he's cashing out to me. He got battered against Makmhudov and as a reward got an even tougher fight against Hrgovic. I'd love to see him do well, but I think this may be the last one for the White Rhino.

You can't see Dave having a chance really. It definitely has the feel of a cash out. Dave obviously has some talent but he's never seemed to take the game seriously. Lots of short notice fights and half arsed training camps. I hope he has taken this one seriously. Hrgovic should be too good though.

Horace Notice was a cracking fighter wasn't he, very accomplished amateur, even more impressive due to the fact he was a late starter compared to some, so he was what you can put in the "natural" fighter bracket. And to get to the finals of the ABAs in his second year and then go on to win it in the third is some achivement.

He was a very skilled boxer in the ring, wasn't a silly fighter, held his shape and was a very good operator. But size and lack of punching power, and of course the eye injuries that would later retire him were his undoing imo, when you look at someone like Gary Mason, he wasn't as fluent a boxer as Notice but he had the natural size and he could whack, seriously whack, very game fighter, and to reach your limit in the heavyweight division you need that brute force and stopping power as much as any technique and savvy, and I think Notice would have been a Cruiserweight more than likely if he was about today.

His career and what he achieved aren't anything to turn your nose up at though, but he didn't have the physical make up and requirements to reach the very top imo

I too like Dave Allen. Funny chap, doesn't take himself too seriously, and to be fair to him always has a go, let's his hands go and generally tries to have a pop.

Trouble is though he's domestic level, always seems to fall short at British and European level, and that's why Hrgovic will have his number.

Hrgovic I feel will fall short himself at some stage too. He was a brilliant amateur, and he has a great set of whiskers on him, but there's something not there fully for me with Hrgovic in the pro game, we will see..

Yep, disastrous for Dave Allen that. He's probably been paid well but that was a horrific mismatch that probably shouldn't have been made. Props to Jamie Moore pulling him out, no point in letting it go on.

Michael Gomez Jr/Lee McGregor was a cracker before it.

That basically went how everyone expected and was a waste of time.

I think so did lots of people from Doncaster as I have seen some pictures of the place looking half empty before the sun went down.

Gomez Jnr seems like a total dickhead from his interview. I remember liking watching his dad fight, but didn't he have similar issues ?
