McGregor McRetires? No. But let's talk about him anyway.

I agree his reputation will take a hit if he loses to Diaz again. The sad thing is, I think he's going to. I just get the feeling that Diaz is all wrong for him.

Diaz is coming into this fight knowing that his size played a part in the 1st bout, and this time he looks like he's coming in as big as possible. Every image I've seen of him lately he's looked like a fucking tank.

McGregor may be able to survive a bit longer this time, but I really can't see a different outcome. He's going to lose via TKO stoppage or submission I think.

That's a great point David. Nate could feasibility be coming into this fight even bigger than he was in the first fight and decide to cut a chunk to make 170llbs.

I admire the balls of Mcgregor I'll give him that.

There's no doubt about him coming in bigger in my opinion.

Look at him in this photo. Nick fights as a middleweight and Nate is bigger than him for fucks sake!

He's coming in to "box Conor the fuck up" and lay him out with a submission, and I doubt McGregor will be able to do much about it.

I still think Mcgregor has a great chance of winning to be honest. I think he badly underestimated Diaz in the first fight and his preparation seemed abysmal. He just seemed to spend those final two weeks pigging out on 3 breakfasts when Diaz was announced as the late replacement.

He will rely on his speed advantage this time and pick out his shots rather than search for them.

That first fight was 8 minutes of Mcgregor dictating the fight and gassing himself out. He's best countering his opponent using his superior movement.

If it were someone other than Diaz I'd maybe agree, but he's been stopped once in his entire career. The guy may not be a top 3 lightweight, but he's hard as fucking nails. No one likes fighting him.

I just don't see how McGregor's style will allow for him to beat Diaz. In the past it's taken opponents with a grinding wrestling game to get the job done, like RDA, Benson, Maynard etc. Fuck, even Rory and Stun Gun couldn't stop him and those two are legit welterweights of a decent calibre.

You also have to take into account that even the best conditioned fighters start to lose steam when they take either Diaz brother on in a stand-up fight. Their pressure and the way they implement their boxing game drains people of energy, so I don't see McGregor's counter game working for him.

Not to mention that it's five rounds.

It just ain't looking good for the lad.

I agree completely and it's certainly an uphill challenge. I just think that if Mcgregor sorts out his cardio I think he can outwork Diaz using his speed advantage and potentially get a TKO finish on the ground.

Nate coming in bigger could adversely impact on his cardio too.

I don't think Nate get's KO'd, but I can definitely see a path for Mcgregor by landing a combo that staggers Nate to then finishing it on the ground similar to his fight with Siver.

Have to agree that I'm doubtful McGregor wins this one. With Diaz' chin and superior grappling, the only realistic way for McGregor to win is by decision, and whilst it's feasible, I don't think he'll be able to keep peppering Diaz with shots and stay out of range of any bombs constantly for five rounds.

I hate to toot my own horn, but when it comes to betting on fights I rarely do so unless I'm fairly sure of the result, and in the past I've been accurate more often than not.

Diaz wins this fight.

I'm picking Diaz. I hated the fight when it was first announced and despite McGregor putting the work in, I still hate this fight for the same reasons - size and skills. Also, as someone on here put it, the Diaz brothers hate their brains.

Fair enough McGregor knows what he's in for now, but you can also say the same for Nate. Not only does he know he can take McGregor's best, but he's also going to be in peak shape come fight time. Nate is hardly ever in awful shape, relatively speaking, but he's going to be sharper this time round.

I can see McGregor bossing large parts of it, but Nate will keep walking throw all the punches and eventually catch McGregor again when he gets his rhythm and range established. Aye, McGregor gassed a bit but it was a Nate punch that made him decide he was better served taking it to the ground.

Anybody else see Mcgregor hanging backstage with Rihanna? Got me thinking, apart from Ronda can you imagine any other UFC fighters being allowed to do this? She is legit the #1 pop star in the world (well her and Swift are)

Twitter is on it's ass these days though isn't it? I can actually envision it going the same way as Myspace and bebo

The UFC 202 Fight Presser will happen during international fight week in July, both Nate & Conor will be there, going to be a busy few days with 3 fight cards, a bunch of weigh ins and some pre and post fight talk between everyone.

Is it? Honestly, that really is news to me. I thought it was still huge and was one of the preferred ways businesses and celebs got themselves over with the public.

So what is big?
