Keith Houchen
I think it's free for the weekend or a few days, something like that.
Awards Moderator Onyx2 Posted November 22, 2016 Awards Moderator Share Posted November 22, 2016 Oh also, I noticed NBA 2K17 yesterday on my 'ready to install' list on my Xbox. I definitely haven't bought it and it's not Games For Gold. Anyone else had this? It's free to play this weekend.

Mr.E
Apparently Gears 4 will be £25 digital download, via the Xbox Black Friday sale!
Merzbow
Titanfall 2 will be 20 quid in HMV, it sold like shit but is pretty amazing.
Keith Houchen
Continuing my Xbone adventure with Elite. Fuck knows what I'm doing but according to the display, I'll get to my first mission destination in a day. Can't launch warp drive or whatever it is called as the cargo is too heavy, and this is the first mission.
Paid Members Arch Stanton Posted November 24, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted November 24, 2016 I'm keeping my eye on all the various Black Friday console deals. To a casual gamer, what real difference is there between a 500GB and 1TB Xbox? There isn't a massive jump in cost, but there do seem to be more attractive bundle deals being put together for the 500gb models. Should I be bothered about 1Tb, is it a wise future-proofing measure? Merzbow
Games these days do take up a whole load of space so the extra half a tb would help if you want a bunch installed at once.  I picked up DOOM for under 12 quid earlier, was hoping for Dishonored 2 around £25 but that's wishful thinking. Paid Members Arch Stanton Posted November 24, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted November 24, 2016 Does everything you play on it have to be installed now? Whole games not just save files?
Merzbow
Pretty much, I haven't been able to just pop a disc in and play since buying a PS4. Then there's the gigs of updates you have to download..
Paid Members PunkStep Posted November 25, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted November 25, 2016 If there's not much in it Arch, definitely get 1tb. I'm having to delete shit to make space whenever I get a new game now. Everything is installed. Even though you need a disc for non-downloaded purchases, games don't run from them. Paid Members PunkStep Posted November 25, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted November 25, 2016 Lego Star Wars The Force Awakens is down to £15 everywhere. Fallout 4 £12!  Amazon Dot is £40, Echo is £120.
Steve Justice
On the flip side Arch, I've coped perfectly fine with my 500gb since I purchased on release. Yes I have to free up space every now and again, but all I'm deleting are games I no longer play or will ever again. Â If you're a disc gamer like me, and don't have loads of games on the go at once then 500gb will be fine. Especially if you get better bundle deals. But if you intend on downloading games then I would suggest the 1tb.
neil is brill
Arch, also take into consideration that the 500GB version isn't 500GB out of the box, it's around 415GB with the operating system etc. Â I have a 1TB PS4 Pro, so these figures might be different for the slim/standard, but I had 880GB out of the box with the Pro.
