Also picked up a Fire Stick just now after reading this thread. Mainly to stream sports. Looking forward to messing about with it tomorrow.

EDIT: Actuslly cancelled the order as Amazon weren't getting any stock in for two weeks. Noticed a DroidPlayer box down from £70 to £39.99 in a lightening deal. It will do all the a kodi stuff right? The web seems to think so.

This kodi thing is awesome. So many streams. Where do I find out what channel is showing 3pm football kickoffs?

Also I have the Watch USTV add on. But I can't seem to find how to actually access its streams.

Ive been using the big black box build, although probably not as good as The Beast, it is not crashing my stick like the Beast was. With reference to the 3pm kick offs apparently the Robobcop channel has a list a streams but they do not appear until about 20 minutes to kick off, so I am going to give that a go tomorrow.

The easiest way to get Kodi on the beast is via ES File Explorer app. Simply download the app on the firestick, and then via it, you can open up a web page and visit http://kodi.tv/download/and select the ARM android version. (instructions here: http://www.aftvnews.com/how-to-sideload-apps-like-kodi-onto-the-fire-tv-using-nothing-but-the-fire-tv/)

I'd also look at getting the Firestarter.apk downloaded so the stick will launch straight in to Kodi

Is there a way of downloading firestarter via ES File explorer?

Mine came with all the add ons it seems. Only I can't find the robocop one. Also, long shot, but are there are free add ons for USA Network and HBO?

Phoenix has live US TV with both of those channels on there.  They don't work particularly well for me, but they have worked on occasion.

Download the apk for it and put it in your Dropbox folder and you can link that up with es file Explorer via the cloud feature in es.

So I deleted the pre-loaded build I had on my box, which to be fair was working pretty good, and replaced it with The Beast. I've tried to watch a couple movies tonight. Star Wars, A New Hope and a film my girl wanted to watch called The Other Woman. It loaded a list of sources for both. But when I clicked on any source it seemed to load real quick and then just not open. Is this normal? Same for a TV show I tried to watch. Had no issues with TV shows on the pre-loaded build.
