Paid Members Teedy Kay Posted April 25, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted April 25, 2015 I honestly think Foley could be higher placed than 7th, his promos are simply staggering on every level.
Ladiesman345
The Miz above JBL must be a rib.
Paid Members Carbomb Posted April 25, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted April 25, 2015 I'd have Dusty at joint No.1 with Flair, with Piper right behind. Bobby Heenan maybe at No.4 and Billy Graham at No.5.
Pier Six Brawler
I was surprised to see Thunderbolt Patterson on the list. Great talker and a major star who for various reasons barely gets mentioned at all nowadays.
fraserbee
Although Rick Rude was awesome and his "cut the music" bit got super heat, I never really thought he was that amazing on the mic apart from that. One name that is missing that I always loved on interviews is Roadwarrior Hawk. The stuff he said was utterly mental but brilliantly entertaining, creative and unique. JakeRobertsParoleOfficer
Â as insane as they were u gotta add Warrior in there! those insane promos fuelled on god knows what really added to hos character and following! Â i think Jake gets a bad rap due to spending the last 20+ years tarnishing himself! i would dare anyone to find a better and more believable promo than that Liz promo from Tuesday Night in texas! Thats Oscar winning stuff!
Paid Members ColinBollocks Posted April 25, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted April 25, 2015 Superstar should be top 5. If only due to how many top stars pinched from him. Â Prime Piper is number 1 though.
gbacon85
Am I being blind, but there's no Bret on that list right? The best promo for a whole year in 97 and some of the most realistic ever in that period, and he's not on there? Unbelievable
King Pitcos
Am I being blind, but there's no Bret on that list right? Â Â It's a best talkers list, not a crispest wristlock list. Bret Hart has even less place in a top 50 best talkers list than a bunch of ECW no-marks do.

MoistVaj
I know he's not really placed very highly, but I wouldn't have Shawn Michaels in there at all, always thought he was average at best and in the last few years of his career, Taker feud aside, lousy at times. Paid Members Maverick Posted April 26, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted April 26, 2015 He was great on the mic as a heel but he could be very bland as a baby. That time he pretended Bret was coming out at a Raw in Canada is one of my favorite ever promos.

Yeah that was money Nah, the midget stuff was coked up Michaels just being an arse, I'm pretty sure it's this promo he meant (sorry if wrong)...  http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xq9mks_shawn-michaels-heel-promo_sport  Some of the best heel promo work I've ever seen.
