Members SuperBacon Posted December 16, 2023 Members Posted December 16, 2023 I follow loosely, not as much as I'd like but my favourite feud of the year is Stephen A Smith vs Zion Williamson. He's such a clown but I can't help find him funny. Quote
Paid Members gmoney Posted December 16, 2023 Paid Members Posted December 16, 2023 Stephen A was on one the Logan brother's podcasts a few months ago and they asked him if he'd ever eaten ass. He said no. Then they asked if he'd ever had his ass eaten and said no comment. Predictably they took that for yes and went bananas in the studio. He apparently had to release a statement afterwards saying he'd actually never had his arse munched and can people stop shouting things about it at him in the street when he's with his family. That'd never happen to James Richardson. Quote
Members SuperBacon Posted December 16, 2023 Members Posted December 16, 2023 (edited) Don't want to turn this into the Stephen A thread but this is one of the funniest things I've seen this year. Now I'm going to assume that the producers have given him the heads up that a Cars question is coming but the seriousness with which he discusses it like its a real sport is hilarious. Such an unserious man. Edited December 16, 2023 by SuperBacon Quote
Members SuperBacon Posted January 23, 2024 Members Posted January 23, 2024 Joel Embiid put up 70 points last night. Quote

Nice. I know they have random play off and finals games, but more games are more welcome. Have we all been enjoying more SAS madness? Him beefing the Pelicans is just so funny. Quote
Loki Posted March 17, 2024 Posted March 17, 2024 Missed this post and just discovered the BBC coverage. Nice! Quote

Max Power Posted May 16, 2024 Posted May 16, 2024 (edited) Forgot this thread existed. The Mavs/OKC and Wolves/Nuggets series have been incredible so far. Jokic dumping 40 on Gobert without breaking sweat was so, so good. Reminiscent of Hakeem beating up David Robinson 30 years ago. Luka is a fat cripple, but still managed his second triple double of the series last night. OKC shooting 3s horribly bad. Meanwhile, Boston are walking through the East facing injury depleted or generally shite teams. They'll rock up for the finals as fresh as a daisy. Edited May 17, 2024 by Max Power Quote
Members SuperBacon Posted November 5, 2024 Members Posted November 5, 2024 Genuinely think this might be the best lay up I've ever seen. Quote
Mr_Danger Posted November 9, 2024 Posted November 9, 2024 I’m not sure if this has ever been said before and it might be a tad controversial but LeBron James is incredible. He put away 39 pts the other night, is averaging 20 a game and is playing alongside his son. It’s a shame this Lakers team probably won’t get him one more championship before he’s done for good because imagine doing that alongside your lad at his age. Also LeBron Over 20pts and over 1.5 3ptrs is now my go to acca padder outer. Quote
Paid Members gmoney Posted November 9, 2024 Paid Members Posted November 9, 2024 He's not scored less than 10 points in a game since 2007. A ludicrously incredible stat. I'd say it's a shame that the Lakers are shit, but it's not really. It's a shame he's not on a better team. Quote
Paid Members Weezenal Posted November 9, 2024 Paid Members Posted November 9, 2024 I went to a pre-season (or was it post-season) Knicks game a few weeks ago at MSG. I'd like to try to watch some this season. Can anyone recommnd a simple guide to how the NBA season works? Like how the league's are divided and play-offs etc I roughtly understood the rules, ball in the hoop = points. Quote
