Mr_Danger
I think the Bran stuff is intentional like the way you don't see Gandalf for ages in LOTR. Â Is that shadowy figure that's weilding fire on horseback super Jon Snow?
Ghostface1982
Â Ah the Bran stuff is even more interminable that the Ayra stuff. In the book yes. I quite like the look of the very last frame of the trailer though. Â Im guessing with him being stood up that it's a vision.
Guest
Nerdist break down of it says the white king looks more human than previously, so may be a vision of his back story
Awards Moderator HarmonicGenerator Posted April 12, 2016 Awards Moderator Share Posted April 12, 2016 (edited) Another trailer came out last night for season 6:    Also, Cracked have done an article comparing Game of Thrones to WWE, which is quite entertaining. WyattSheepMask
Jon Snow is featuring far too much in these trailers for someone who has supposedly been been killed off. Either it's a massive swerve or he will be resurrected at some point
Ian 86
Either it's a massive swerve or he will be resurrected at some point So what you're saying is he's either dead or alive? Â Whatever happens they'd be silly not to feature him in the trailers - it's been such a big talking point for them between seasons people will watch just to see what happens to him. Probably could have worded it better, and I'm still struggling to think how to word even now. Personally I don't think he will be coming back, but by including him in the trailers it's got people thinking that he may be brought back in some way, maybe with Melisandre doing some kind of resurrection magic or something. He just seems to be being featured a little too much in trailers for an entire season for a dead character. Unless he's just going to be a rotting corpse for the whole series, the aftermath of his death can be done & dusted by the end of the first episode. Â Whether he's dead or not, I'm keen to find out what direction the show go in, and I'm looking forward to lots of The Mountain finishing people by Awesome Destruction
Paid Members herbie747 Posted April 12, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted April 12, 2016 Is it true that S5 on TV has now surpassed the books? If so, it'll be great not to have all the book-wankers constantly making smug comparisons.

Paid Members herbie747 Posted April 12, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted April 12, 2016 (edited) Kick ass. Even though this is the TV only thread, the fuckers still couldn't stay out of it last year. They just can't resist. Â Ignore title - this is about GoT too: Â Edited April 12, 2016 by herbie747
Paid Members Lion_of_the_Midlands Posted April 12, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted April 12, 2016 The TV show has now caught up with the books, but to be honest, the books and TV are now so far apart it doesn't really matter anymore.

But there should be little danger of that happening now anyway. It's going to be pretty much fresh for everyone.
Paid Members Sergio Mendacious Posted April 13, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted April 13, 2016 I've lost respect for people over their GoT book-wankery - both in trying to spoil it, and trying to shame me for not having read the books.

W35ty
Hasn't it been said that the books (if they ever get finished) are going in a different direction to the TV show completley?
