Not even sure where you start with the logic behind adding this stipulation, for a normal person it seems pretty stupid but then you add in Dixie Carter who for the last 10 years has done nothing but pay late and it sounds even more daft.

There might not be a TV deal by the time they buy it. The whole selling to nazis thing cant be helping their position with Pop TV, who just dropped their Tuesday replay. Its not like they are buying a company with guaranteed TV for several years.
