Spike tv Are ending there deal with tna in october. Big news that, could be the begining of the end

TNA Impact will not be renewed by Spike TV in the fall season, reports TMZ.

According to the report, TNA president Dixie Carter was informed of Spike's decision this weekend and Carter held a meeting to discuss TNA's TV future.

TNA is scheduled to air on Impact through October, giving the company about two-and-a-half months to find a new domestic TV home.

Their having Russo as a secret employee and getting found out had "everything to do with it," according to Big Dave.

An entire company is dead because Vince Russo CCed the wrong Mike in an email.

There are two things I can see TNA doing going by their track record here...

The first, they try and introduce Vince Russo as an on air babyface character.

The second, they have a heel stable form to announce that TNA are starting an online subscription network.

I would have to guess that this is also the end of British Boot Camp 2 as what would be the point when TNA will be dead before they even get to pick a winner.

Plus would it be worth it for any wrestler to now uproot his or her life to go to the US when the company you are going to work for won't even be around by the end of the show.

I can see a lot of guys who were going to try out not bothering and the ones already picked backing out.

Massive news!

This could very well be the end. I really hope they find a decent deal. Its going to be a interesting few months. If this is all over the Russo CC'ed Email then TNA are fucking idiots to employe him.

At least they can promise a new station a guaranteed 1.1 million viewers each week.

I can see the Carters pulling the plug on it now. They probably saw the Spike deal as their one last shot at trying to turn business around.

Can see Jarrett raiding the talent for GFW, the McMahons not wanting to touch the carcass with a barge pole and the Carters wondering where it went wrong even though everyone and their dog has seen this coming for a while.

What's this about Russo cc'ing the wrong people in an e-mail?

Isnt tna one of the best viewed shows on spike tv though? Tna's ratings are always higher then bellators arent they?

Yeah but it's a car crash. It's such bad quality that they'd rather cancel it than draw a million viewers from it. Really makes you think about TNA and Russo's rep.

Yes, but television wrestling attracts such poor advertising rates that it isn't as attractive to stations as those that technically gain higher ratings/viewers.

Maybe the pay off of ratings isn't worth the hassle of having Vinny Ru anywhere near the creative side of things, especially when the company bullshits you.
