When WWE never used to do those, people were mad for them to come back. Since they've brought them back, nobody seems to like them. Although Cesaro's not the kind of bloke to make them look like a good idea anyway -- and to be fair, a lot of the ones in the old days were really, really crap too, but they just didn't seem it because we were seven.

It almost certainly doesn't help that Cesaro's music is the worst in the company. Rollins and Ambrose both have something fairly generic (although I weirdly find myself humming the intro drum riff to Rollins' music after he's been on) but that dull European ambulance siren on the start of Cesaro's is the fucking pits.

Dean Ambrose and Rollins both have great music I think, I do really hate Cesaro's though, he should use his old music, the one with European rapping over Dean Malenkos' song, that was great.

I love Cesaro, him, Ryback and Dean Ambrose are my favourite new guys to come along since Lesnar. I am Swiss though so that's probably 80% of the appeal for me. I can see how people think he's boring but I love how he wrestles and I could see him finding a decent angle again like when he was getting over in the real Americans.

I hope Ryback comes back with completely reinvigorated because I still think he could be a top guy if given the chance again.

If Ryback comes in and destroys Rusev, all his main-events jobs will be forgotton.

Shame they'll just build Rusev up for Cena, That's wasted heat... seeing how the crowd cheered for Jack Swagger, I reckon keep Ryback off TV a while longer and then have him be the one to take down Rusev.

That would be my dream Ryback comeback, I can't be arsed to see Cena beat Rusev, Rusev will be lost in the mid card as soon as anybody beats him anyway so they might as well use it to get someone over.

When I saw Ryback's video in the hospital, I thought I could see him having a big comeback.

I'm not arguing that Cesaro is currently very interesting or anything, just that we've not seen the best of him yet. You can't compare someone calling Shelton Benjamin a rookie after 6 years or so to someone saying he has more in him after 2 years. Anyway, we'll see. And if he does come good, there can be no 'but it was only because...'

Pictos mentions 'triple h and 2003' more than anyone on here combined.

Ryback discussion again must be 2weeks since we did that, I think coming back he can be rebuilt as a monster face, when you've got that look and moves that look cool he can always be a threat.

I'd maybe move away from the singlet (since its the same as RVD) but that might lead to Goldberg chants again   when he pulls the straps down his chest and shoulders look massive.

On Cesaro Ive said on here a few times they need to build his super athlete stuff, show him training etc, have coaches etc put over what a freak specimen he is, he might still be 'boring' but if he's seen as a 'cyborg' type athlete then it wont matter

Two things were done massively wrong with Cesaro - one was not turning him babyface after WrestleMania. The other was sticking him with a man who decided to put over his other interests win over Undertaker every time he introduced Cesaro.

I'm more than happy to admit that Ryback was a severely limited performer that was utterly reliant on creative making him win all the time to be a big star. Can you admit that about Cesaro?

Hell No, because it's not the case.

Cesaro was getting over organically due to his own talents (and some half-decent, simple mid-card booking) while in a heel tag team with the forgettable Jack Swagger. He's never had "creative making him win all the time" so it's impossible to answer your question anyway. He was getting over because he's a great wrestler, with enough fancy moves and feats of strength to make the fans pop. In fact, as I mentioned earlier, he has a knack of making irreverent matches matter, just on the quality of his work. Your idea that he's like Lance Storm is just miles off the mark. Storm's work was very light and he rarely showed any expression; where as Cesaro is full of fire, throws with plenty of impact and is great at the facial expression stuff during matches. You know -  all the stuff good workers do to get the fans into a match, even if they ere not that bothered at the start.

If anything it was the added interest of "creative" that halted his progress. Sticking him with a manager who was entirely focused on other people, giving him shit music and taking away the swing were all crap ideas that ruined the momentum he already had. Calling him "severely limited" is just bollocks. He looks the part, he's young enough, he can wrestle any style against anyone, he's well travelled and he adapted to the WWE style just fine. Shit promos are his only big negative.

 Bit silly of you to try and paint me as the hypocrite then.

You're the kind of clown who will always say any time your favourites fail it's all WWE's fault, and any time your favourites succeed it's all due to the wrestler themselves. Didn't you used to blame WWE for shitty Paul Burchill not becoming a star as well, or have I got you mixed up with another of your ilk?

I only brought Ryback up to make one point: the fact that you (and others on here) made lots of angry noises about how badly they screwed Ryback (and rightly so - they did cut the dudes legs off) yet you have zero sympathy when it happens to certain other talents. Conveniently when it just so happens to be an ex indy-darling style like Cesaro. I mentioned Ryback when you were actually denying that Cesaro ever got over (which thankfully others have since pointed out was bullshit) because he was a relevant example of someone the fans did get behind, only for creative to fuck it all.

2012 Ryback was a one-note musclehead that had one thing going for him, his ability to pull off the Goldberg gimmick brilliantly. Without the push, he's nothing. Your ilk pretends that Cesaro is some god's gift to wrestling, and yet he's failed to connect at every turn except for a brief spell where he was swinging giants around and letting Zeb Colter do the character stuff while creative positioned him in a way that gave him momentum for a bit. If Cesaro needs WWE to do everything for him to be even slightly interesting, then he isn't another CM Punk and Daniel Bryan, is he? He's another 2012 Ryback, only shitter and more boring.

Was it not you with the Burchill thing then?

Cesaro needs a gimmick, and a manager.  He's got skills, but no connection.  He's not got the scary intensity of a Benoit, so he needs something for the crowd to give a shit, and so far the WWE hasn't found it.

What looks like charisma in front of 200 people in a gym often turns out not to work in big arenas.  I'd say Baron Corbin in NXT has infinitely more charisma than Cesaro, and he's barely even wrestled.
