Warrior
I have woken up hungover with the 1992 Royal Rumble match playing (or having finished playing) on more occasions than I can remember. Other drunken faves include Warrior/Hulk (Wrestlemania 6, obvs) and, as found on YouTube this week, the special that accompanied the released of the Piledriver album.  Piledriver Coliseum Video special  In terms of music, I love a bit of Dusty Rhodes 'American Dream' and 'Cool, Cocky, Bad' when I've come in from the pub.  Any of yous have any favourites when you've had a drink? simonworden
The first 3 disc hulk hogan occasionally gets played after a night on the sauce. I think all those early hogan matches are just my feel good material. Although having the urge to turn off the 1000th run through of real american on the title screen but not the energy to do it can be hell

I think I sold it on here. Good times.  I often stick on my first ever PPV, Summerslam 90. Normally asleep by the time Power And Glory hit the finish on Marty. Dr.PeterVenkman
Flair's DVD set, always seem to end up watching the Terry Funk I Quit match every few Saturday nights, or at least watching about 10 minutes of it before I fall asleep (due to the drink not the match being boring obviously)

That was the pay-per-view my dad used to put on for me when I was sick. Can still smell the Vick's Vapour Rub whenever I hear the classic Summerslam music! Paid Members air_raid Posted July 31, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted July 31, 2012 Rumble 1991. Rockers v Orients. When I'm too pissed to decide what to watch, I default to that.  Or porn, obs.
Moderators PowerButchi Posted July 31, 2012 Moderators Share Posted July 31, 2012 Loads of Arn Anderson promos. Loads, loads, loads and fucking loads of Double A. Then I put them all over facebook. Then have to delete them upon waking up. Â Hall of Fame speeches as well for some reason.
Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted July 31, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted July 31, 2012 This thread should also be called autopilot wrestling, because whenever I just want to watch something, safe in the knowledge its not going to bore me and not overly excite me, but at the same time give me a feeling that the world isn't a bad place, I stick on either SummerSlam 89, SummerSlam 90 or SummerSlam 91. Its been that way since I was seven. It'll never change, either. The orange and blue colours are soothing, the outfits are great to look at and the promos are great. The fans are rapid as well. Not to mention the likes of all my favourites like Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, Randy Savage, Sherri, the Big Boss Man, Zeus, Bret Hart, Rick Rude, Mr. Perfect, the LOD, Demolition, Kerry Von Erich and loads of others in their prime wear nice costumes. Sphinx
I know I'm not the only one whose stuck a live PPV tape on, fell asleep through it and woke up to that Sky Sports music at the end of the broadcast.
Paid Members SpiritOfTheForest Posted July 31, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted July 31, 2012 Deathmatches for me, normally in the form of a tournament. The carnage makes for good viewing while drinking heavily and drinking games can easily be made up which get you hammered (e.g take a drink whenever somebody gets hit with a light tube.) I've had friends round when we got drunk watching the latest Austin dvd and the Edge documentary dvd and they were great fun as well. Old ECW shows are another good one.
