EdgarTheSlouch
Just been watching an episode of the A-Team with Hogan in it in which he makes the following statement: 'Hey man Im a wrestler, not an entertainer' which made me chortle. Whats the funniest/most ironic statement youve heard
Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted March 9, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted March 9, 2012 Not a line, but I was watching an interview with Vince McMahon on Larry King regarding in sex with little boys, and Barry Orton was on the phone. He mentioned "there is no union" and Vince gave the funniest roll of the eyes I've ever seen. It was class. Such disgust at the sheer thought of it. Paid Members ColinBollocks Posted March 9, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted March 9, 2012 Some of his employees were accused of having sex with 'ring boys' and demanding jobbers give them a reach around, if they wanted to get hired. I was watching that interview last week. Vince is such a slippery bugger.

"As I was saying, this new girlfriend of mine, her lifes mission is to fight poverty. So to impress her, I went out and punched a homeless person" Regal's a card. Daaaaaad!
In the era when Tripps was opening RAW with a 20 minute promo on himself every week, he said “I don’t have to come out here and put myself over”. DIDN'T HAPPEN.
Reznor
Watched Fall Brawl 2000 the other night after a couple of matches were mentioned in that WCW thread and they reminded me that I loved this whole event when I watched it at the time. Sure enough, I still thought it was great. Anyways, this was pretty funny. Mean Gene.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MhrfZ1EJlpc

We may never know what it really was, Vince sacked or buried a lot of great young talent from WCW like Buff Bagwell, Bryan Clark and James Storm. I remember back then I thought Mike Sanders would be the big star of the 2000s. Wouldn't be the first time HHH buried a great talent, wouldnt even be the 22nd time." Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted March 9, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted March 9, 2012 Great young talent like Bryan Clark and Buff Bagwell. Anyway, Triple H wasn't even at shows for most of 2001. If he was, maybe poor DDP wouldnt have been so royally fucked with.

Jason Mayhem
Watching the original One Night Stand this week. Just as Mike Awesome does a suicide dive to the outside, Joey Styles says something along the lines of "It's a shame he didn't take his own life". Ouch. King Pitcos
Why the fuck isn't Regal on commentary for Raw or SD? I think someone covered this in the NXT thread, but because his style doesn't really work for a proper show. It's way too dry and low-key.
