Minor news items that don't deserve a thread

That lobby does look quite interesting to be fair. Can you just walk in a have a browse?

If you could there would be tonnes of peados hanging around hoping to catch a glimpse of Paige, and as you don't hear of that happening I'm guessing not. Obviously said peados are the same people who hang around the hotels that the roster stays in

Okay, so this is kind of interesting and it's something that usually doesn't get posted online. We usually get to see only the live+same day viewership numbers and DVR numbers are not mentioned online. According to PWTorch, this is the live+3 days viewership for the previous two weeks:

These numbers are for the original cable TV airings. No info on the other airings.

Does LU have an inconvenient timeslot? That's a large percentage of their viewership who watch recorded.

Getting on for half a million viewers who watch Raw recorded. About time these numbers were regularly counted. Apart from live sport, I don't watch anything when it actually airs. Modern living.

It now airs head-to-head with ROH and NXT so perhaps that might be the reason?

I'm actually more interested in seeing the LU DVR numbers for their UniMas airing, since that's the broadcast most people watch, but sadly those numbers aren't available.

The El Rey Network is only available in 20% of homes in the US. By contrast, 50% of homes receive Destination America. USA is in 80%.

The ratings on UniMas (available to 90% of homes, but - of course - entirely in Spanish) are thought to be around 300,000. The last recorded number was January, when it was 200,000 but they assume similar growth in viewing figures for both editions of the show.

EDIT: more number crunching...

Lucha Underground, with around 100,000 viewers, reaches 0.4% of its potential English language audience. For its Spanish audience, it's somewhere around 1.5%.

TNA, with around 400,000 viewers, reaches 0.7% of its potential audience. ROH (on DA only) hits just 0.3% but you can assume a good number have already seen it on a Sinclair affiliate.

Raw, with 4,000,000 viewers, hits 4%, while Smackdown does almost 3%.

Cora Combs, the last surviving member of the Billy Wolfe troupe in the heyday of women's pro wrestling, passed away at 7 a.m. today at a hospital in Nashville.

She was 92.  She had been suffering from pneumonia in the last week.

Combs, born Cora Svonsteckik was a former Country Music singer who, at the age of 26, attended a pro wrestling show headlined by Mildred Burke, then the biggest star in women's pro wrestling, back in 1949.

Nick Gulas introduced her to Wolfe, and she moved to Wolfe's home base in Columbus, OH and wrestled for 36 years, including at the end of her career, often wrestling her daughter Debbie, while wearing a mask as Lady Satan.

She headlined all over the world during the end of the Wolfe's stable heyday, and main evented with a significant push in Tennessee, where she was probably the most famous of the local women wrestlers.  She worked with just about every name wrestler from several generations, well into the 80s.

She was inducted into the Amsterdam, NY, based Pro Wrestling Hall of fame in 2007.
