Cobra1000
Mattel suck really, they do. The sooner WWE go back to JAKKS the better. RA style figures can't be beaten, classics too. Â Â Mattel are awesome. Â Saying that though, I think there is something weird looking about Bray Wyatts Pelvis area on the figure. It looks odd. Paid Members Kaz Hayashi Posted January 15, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted January 15, 2014 (edited) So 'a' prototype Greg Valentine R&B hasbro figure popped up, has been 'legitimised' and officially graded, sold on eBay for over $15k and now the new owner is asking for over $55k.    The original magazine pic that collectors hide inside of copies of Razzle   Interesting that the figure isn't the one used used of the magazine shoot, apparently more than one was knocked up.  The video of the buyer being interviewed stating how he out bid Zack Ryder in the embers.    Probs already been posted in a random thread, couldn't see it on here and the news is a week or so old now. Either way...  Laugh at $15k, cry at $55k, cringe at Ryder  I'm a collector, made customs etc, but I mean what the flying fuck is this all about. Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted January 15, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted January 15, 2014 Zack Ryder made a big private bid for it when it originally popped up. I dont think $55,000 is in his price range, though.

I dont think $55,000 is in his price range, though. Â Aye, I think the $15k was over his limit. Â $55k though, fuckin hell. It apparently disappeared off ebay before the ending. Either the seller realised he was fucking mental, or another radged cunt made a high offer.
RIDDUM_N_STYLE
Seen a couple of new(ish?) lines of figures when I was out and about in town today. The first being a line of really basic figures in The Entertainer which look in similar style to the Galoob WCW figures only these have waist articulation from the looks of it, there were Cena, Big Show, Undertaker and Bryan figures in that line for

thegamehhh
I think the more exciting retro figure news is that head sculpts for the long rumoured orange card Hasbro series have potentially shown up and Jarrett looks fucking ace

CTXRussomark
Who are 2 and 3 meant to be? 2 looks like the old Kerry Von Erich figure and 3 looks like Vigo from Ghostbusters. Jarrett and MOM do look pretty great though. Nice find if they're real, there weren't thought to be any surviving examples of the orange card prototypes. Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted January 19, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted January 19, 2014 Undertaker I believe. Just imagine him coloured in with a beard.
Paid Members Arch Stanton Posted January 19, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted January 19, 2014 I'm a bit confused too- the second one looks like Kerry but he was brown bread by the time Men On A Mission debuted, wasn't he?
CTXRussomark
Ahh yeah, I can kinda see that. Bit of an odd hair design but facially it's quite similar to the previous figure if you imagine the shading under the eyes and stuff. So is 2 just Kerry Von Erich then? Seems odd including him in the line-up.

Yeah Kerry was long gone. I remember the local Beatties having dozens of his Hasbro figure left for months on end and them not bothering to stock any of the following releases. I always blamed him for it.
King Pitcos
2 is Texas Tornado. It would've just been sculpted by the same fella/department that did the later ones, who just found a load of old shite from years ago in a cupboard.
