Various anti-fascist groups can't really support this type of mass police action

Of course they can't, but that doesn't mean that the situation "worked for you", does it? It's not as if this will see those anti-fascist groups suddenly decide that the EDL are a swell bunch of lads.

Not entirely true there mickey, lots of anti-fascst and left wing type places I frequent were very pleased indeed. Much as they were quite pleased about the mac being banned. The fact your group put out statements saying your lot would be attacking the occupy london camp has largely been seen as proof that you're not only a racist organisation, you're quite keen to take part in other areas of facist politics. This has not gone down well with any anti-fascist groups at all.

Even the right wring press is now referring to you as basically as bad as the MAC, and have wrote pieces about how the police managed to stop you ruining the ceremonies. The numbers you got for the rememberance day and birmingham demo's are your worst national turn outs ever.

Nothing about this turned out well for you, at all.

In addition to which, people are now petitioning to have your group banned in much larger numbers, and the army veterans you've been "Protecting," have been quite happy to explain on camera that you're a bunch of racist thugs that they want nothing to do with.

Oh and you managed to get the RBL poppy campaign in birmingham put back a day, meaning

Just in case you're still unsure quite how it came about, here's a screen shot of the post made by the official EDL admin explaining that they would be dealing with the occupy london movement if they weren't gone by 12.00pm on Friday.

Now I have no doubt it's just coincidence this went up roughly an hour after the MAC got banned, and nothing to do with the fact you'd all got a bit excited about a punch up with the MAC and then had to find a new plan when they got banned.

But you got arrested because one of your spokesman came out to say you'd all be taking part in an illegal activity. Which is the same reason the MAC lot got banned and raided on the friday. Don't blame the police, they were stopping crime, it's their job. Blame the EDL for pointing out on the internet that they'd be commiting crime, and letting the police know when and where it would be happpening, again on the internet!

Of course they were pleased!

It makes a change from them getting towed off!

And facebook??

Fucks sake mate if everyone believed everything on there half The world would be behind bars!!

Or at least leading drunken protests for the stuff some odd muslims promised to do on there.

Besides which your lot have got previous, they attacked the occpy newcastle a few days before. So the edl have done it, their facebook admin (who are as close as you have to spokesmen, stephen aside) said it was happening.

Blame your admin mate, the police do their job (stopping crimes) an EDL spokesmen said you would be in london to commit crime, you all got nicked to stop it happening.

You're not too thick to get this, if you go along for events whose organisers say will involve violence, you run the risk of being bunched in with everyone who'se part of it.

Anyway how thick the edl are isn't the most fun question.

The most fun question is, Mickey, were you pleased to find out that your groups little day out ended up putting back the RBL's poppy campaign in birmingham?

Costing the RBL many many

Genuine question. How many members of the EDL were 'just having a quiet drink' in that pub when it was raided?

To be fair, even on what I read (which is hardly pro given the EDL a fair hearing) other than a glass being thrown and alot of abuse to the barmaids, nothing had really kicked off yet. Of course the old bill steamed in at about 11.15, most had only had a pint. It was all about prevention, rather than waiting for the EDL to kick off and become harder to deal with.

All of them, there was no trouble, no flags, no songs, so how it was even a EDL protest is beyOnd me.

And nobody forced the RBL to push it back, they chose to
