Dirty Eddie
Yeah, great. I've had a bullshit cold all weekend so my brain has been on minimum-effort mode anyway. If I'd finished up today the Invasion would probably have ended with a dusty finish that saw Vince Russo retain the Unified WWF/WCW Title over Kwee-Wee and Al Snow in a 3 way dance(off). TheBigBoot
Of the rest of the quarter finalists, what's your situation, reckon you'll be able to get stuff in soon or are people too busy at the moment? I'm still in. First chance I've had to start work on it was about half an hour a ago. In fairness, I knew that would be the case early last week which is why I was grateful for the extension until Sunday (today). Extension granted. Call it Friday afternoon, people? No problem. This way it means I won't have to rush it tonight.

Paid Members mim731 Posted November 9, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted November 9, 2011 nWo 2002 The angle begins much like it did in real life, with Vince McMahon making his same statement about ‘a lethal dose of poison’, but does not mention the nwo by name. At no way out 2002 they do not appear at the start of the show, McMahon comes out and teases the poison in the veins of the WWF. He is even sitting on Jericho beats Austin clean in the main event after Austin suffers a (Kayfabe) knee injury. Jericho then batters him with a chair, and Austin is stretchered off. Triple H comes out, fresh from having beaten Kurt Angle, to confront Jericho, setting up their WM18 match. Vince just keeps repeating something about poison as the show goes off the air. The next night on Raw, they build the other angles towards Mania, and The rock explains that he has no match for mania, he criticises Vince McMahon for focusing on destroying his own company with some kind of invisible poison. The lights go out, and when they come back on. Hollywood Hulk Hogan is standing in the ring!!! They have a stare down, and he challenges The Rock to a match at mania, Rock accepts, and then out of nowhere from the crowd appears: Hall and Nash in NWO shirts! They come out and attack Rock, and hand Hogan an NWO shirt, while the three pose together, and Vince McMahon stands on the stage, applauding as raw goes off the air. The following week Vince explains they were the poison, and they will be destroying everyone, starting with The Rock. Over the following weeks the angle builds for Rock/Hogan, which goes on last at mania, going the same way as it did in reality, with Rock winning but the crowd turning Hogan face. After the match Hogan shakes Rock’s hand, and Hall and Nash jump Hogan, Rock makes the save, and Mania goes off the air with Rock and Hogan doing the pose down. Also at mania HHH beats Jericho for the WWE title. The next night on Raw it’s Hogan/Rock vs. Hall/Nash. During the evening The Rock bumps into HHH backstage, they staredown but HHH says well done to The Rock and tells him when he’s done with the NWO he is welcome to a shot at the title. In the main event, Rock and Hogan win, but HHH comes in after the match and nails both Hogan and Rock with a sledge hammer. He hugs Hall and Nash, and puts on an NWO Shirt. The three of them then begin smashing up the ringside area, ala The Nexus in 2010. Vince comes out to stop them, and he fires them, but Trips lays him out with a sledgehammer. The three leave through the crowd Over the coming weeks the NWO run roughshod over the fed, interrupting matches, sitting in the front row, and generally causing chaos. After a week or so, they are joined by Xpac, also in NWO garb. Vince eventually concedes he made a mistake bringing the NWO in, but as HHH is champion he needs him to defend the belt, and they need to stop running the show, he has tried getting security in, and everything else, and now he is asking them to be reasonable, but the NWO refuse. They present Vince with a list of demands he has to meet, including turning Smackdown into their show, NWO Smackdown. Vince has no choice but to agree to avoid further chaos. They also demand their leader be hired, and he is introduced: This leads to the NWO cherry picking their own roster of guys to offer to be in the NWO, this includes former members Big Show, and the debuting/returning Scott Steiner and Curt Hennig, as well as Test, Dlo, and 3 minute warning. They also offer an open invitation to anyone to come over to Smackdown to challenge them, but as HHH announces, ‘It’s our show, and our rules’. This dynamic continues over the coming months, with HHH eventually facing The Rock for the title at Summerslam in a half NWO/half WWE lumberjack match with HBK as a referee. The story being that NWO had been trying to get him to join for a few weeks, he refuses and although he counts the three he argues with the NWO after the match, and he gets hit in the back with a sledgehammer. The rest of the year unfolds as it did in real life with HBK making a comeback, winning the belt at survivor series, and HHH regaining it at Armageddon. During the year Brock Lesnar has also been gaining momentum, and has finally ended up feuding with the NWO, going through them one at a time, till he faces Hall at Armageddon, winning. Vince McMahon then begins building Lesnar up as the only man who can stop the NWO, and t the rumble he beats Nash, and wins the rumble. Over the next few weeks he again takes out everyone in the NWO one at a time, and McMahon bets the NWO that Brock will beat HHH at mania, and if not Vince will retire, but if he does, the NWO must disband. Lesnar wins at mania clean, forcing the NWO to end. This year long story arc gets over the NWO as a real force again, does something different with the dual show concept, and builds a huge new star, truly ‘The Next big thing’

NEWM
vs vince russo Scott Steiner 2003 I have a feeling a few people will like this one. Scott Steiner signed with WWE in 2002 and I'd say he had some half decent build-up going on. He was then assigned a program with Triple H and they were booked together at the Royal Rumble. A couple of poor matches later and Steiner didn't even make Wrestlemania that year. Re-book Steiner's fate. Start by re-booking the match with Triple H for the World title and culminate at Backlash in April. ____________ At the Rumble, Scotty is jumped by Evolution backstage. Steiner fights them off, before a Triple H sledgehammer to the legs floors him for good and the heels lay a beating to him. Steiner is dead, and carted off in an ambulance. Triple H comes out looking smug. The fans know Scott

Dirty Eddie
Vrs Fox Piss Re-Book The InVasion angle The Last Nitro This happens as it did, Shane buys WCW, Vince gulps into the camera. Wrestlemania The Shane Vrs Vince match ends when the WCW crew who were watching in the stands (Storm, Morrus, Kidman, etc...) invade the ring, leading to the locker room emptying and a mass brawl breaking out. No Contest finish. WCW is run from the building. On RAW, Vince mocks the feeble WCW “Invasion” attempt, claiming they are impotent under the lead of Shane. Backlash During the Austin/HHH Vrs Taker/Kane main event, we cut to the back where the roster have all been laid out. The WCW roster attacks the ring, destroying all 4 WWF guys. This time they have added Booker T and DDP to the ranks, as well as a number of men in all black, with masks.. On RAW, the Titantron feed is hijacked and Shane McMahon claims that the beatdown at Backlash is just the start. The War is back on. Judgement Day Steve Austin retains the title over the Undertaker. The lights go out. When they come back up, Sting is behind Austin. A Scorpion Death Drop lays out Austin. As security and WWF wrestlers run towards the ring, Sting picks up the WWF Title and repels up into the rafters with the belt as the PPV ends. On RAW, Shane demands a public meeting with Vince. During the meeting he drops the bombshell that (as a major shareholder and still a member of the WWF Board) he quietly allowed the contract for WWF Smackdown on UPN to expire. Thankfully there will still be wrestling on a Thurday night – WCW Thunder. He also announced that he has altered the WWF PPV schedule and now every other PPV will be WCW's. (all this is a bit of a stretch, but it's using “Pro Wrestling Logic” so sod it!) On Thursday, the WCW crew takes over the Smackdown set, ripping it down and replacing everything with WCW branding. Booker T and Sting celebrate with Shane as the show goes off the air, one with the WCW Title, the other with Austin's WWF Title. Over the next few months the War heats up, with WWF RAW on a Monday and WCW Thunder on Thursday. Both sides taking shots at each other as Vince still wants to get his hands on Shane and Austin wants his belt back from Sting. This eventually leads to WCW making it clear they they are not happy just having the Thunder spot, they want their Monday Night Wrestling back. Summerslam is chosen as the night to decide things... Austin Vrs Sting in a Ladder match, with the winner getting the rights to Monday Night, while the loser will just get Thursdays. The WWF Title hangs over the ring, so Austin has the chance to reclaim his Title belt at the same time. Summerslam Sting defeats Austin in the Ladder Match to claim Monday Night's for WCW. After a mass brawl with both rosters around the ring, 3 men dressed in all black enter the ring and chair-shot the hell out of Austin, allowing Sting to climb the ladder and take the win. They tease unmasking, but Sting stops them. “Make them wait, big man. Tune in to WCW Monday Nitro for all the answers...” Other matches on Summerslam... The Rock Vs DDP Edge & Christian Vs Rey & Kidman Booker T & Scott Steiner Vs Benoit & Jericho Eddie Guerrero Vs JJ On Monday Nitro, the 3 men are unmasked as Hall, Nash and Hogan. The nWo is back! Shane also introduces his new business partner... Mr Eric Bischoff. On WWF Thursday Smackdown, Vince announces that due to his actions over the past months, the board has legally expelled Shane from the company forever, buying back his shares. Vince will not stop until Shane is a bloody mess and the WWF wins back Monday Night RAW. Again, the War rages on over the next few months, with each side making gains. The nWo end up getting up to their old tricks, when Hogan beats Booker T for the WCW Title, leading to some tension between Bischoff and Shane. Everything finally comes to a head at Survivor Series, where Vince gets Shane to agree to a match with him. The Monday Night slot will again be on the line, as WWF Champion Steve Austin battles WCW Champion Hulk Hogan. This time, if the WWF lose, WCW gets all of their PPV slots, including Wrestlemania. Vince says it is worth the risk to win back RAW and get his hands on Shane. Survivor Series Hollywood Hulk Hogan Vs Stone Cold Steve Austin Other Matches Vince Vrs Shane – Steel Cage Match The Undertaker & Kane vs Nash & Hall The Rock Vs Sting Jericho, Benoit, Angle, Regal & Eddie Vr Booker, Scott Steiner, Helms, Rey & Kidman Shane beats Vince, thanks to a heel turn by the Big Show (he tears through the floor of the ring, like his WWF debut). Shane celebrates with his new acquisition. In the Main Event, the expected anarchy breaks out as everyone and his mother runs in. Another mass brawl all over the arena, suddenly the lights go out as both Austin and Hogan are getting to their feet mid-ring... As the lights come back on, GOLDBERG is standing mid-ring, he eyes both Austin and Hogan, he hesitates for a few seconds, then destroys Hogan with a spear, the shocked crowd goes mental. We see a bloodied Vince being held up on the stage by Patterson and Regal, he manages a weak smile. Goldberg nods an acknowledgement to Austin, then walks out of the ring and up the aisle. Austin waits for Hogan to stand before nailing the stunner and winning back Monday Night RAW and saving Wrestlemania. The WWF wins back RAW but WCW is still an ongoing promotion on Thursday Night Thunder (and with both having PPV). “Tune in next week to find out what happens now!!!”
Paid Members Fatty Facesitter Posted November 12, 2011 Author Paid Members Share Posted November 12, 2011 Loving all 5 entries. Thanks for getting them in guys. I've PM'ed the three folks we're still waiting on so fingers crossed we'll have this stage rapped up by tomorrow night. I'll then get the panel involved and it won't be long until we've got a final four decided.
