<POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT, WATCH OUT>

Didn't see it on here, but at CMLL's 82nd anniversary show La Sombra lost his mask to Atlantis

Cubsfan says the event was an alright draw, and Atlantis vs. La Sombra was very good, but begs the question, how many more good Luchadores are going to lose their masks to Atlantis?

Lucha Underground will return for a second season on the El Rey Network in early 2016. They will be back at The Temple in Los Angeles for filming. Production is expected to start back up in December with pre-production being done some time before December as some characters will be brought in for promo work and vignettes.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that the budget for each Lucha Underground episode will be decreased from last season's $400,000 per episode but the changes made due to the budget cut won't be noticeable. There was some talk of moving the tapings to either Texas or Mexico due to costs but they're staying in Los Angeles. It was also said that they will not be taping as many episodes for this season as they did for the first season, which had 39.

There have been rumors of a Lucha Underground TV deal being worked out in Mexico as officials had been in talks with Telavisa Channel 5. If they were to come to a deal, that would give Lucha Underground financial assistance for this season plus they would have a lot more exposure in Mexico than WWE, AAA or CMLL.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to notice that there's less episodes than last year.

Myzteziz, who was the original Mistico in CMLL & the original Sin Cara in WWE, appeared at Arena Mexico last night. He's going to be wrestling for Lucha Libre Elite in two weeks, which is fine because it's an indy and AAA allows that. BUT! it's in Arena Mexico, which is owned by CMLL, and CMLL doesn't let talent from AAA appear there, especially not talent it fell out with when they left (everyone, basically). Huge, huge news.

Huge news indeed! In the backstage interviews afterwards Myzteziz announced that he is indeed leaving AAA soon and wants to return to CMLL. Tough break for AAA as he was their top rudo, but this is potentially great for CMLL. And man, cannot wait for Mistico vs. Rush. You just know it's bound to happen sooner rather than later and it's going to be great.

Speaking of Rush, gotta love this quote by Meltzer about last night's CMLL show: "Los Ingobernables are the modern day 80s Horsemen. Rush is easily the best heel in modern wrestling." He's spot on, especially about Rush. Rush is awesome.

His heel turn hasn't really taken, with some crowds not even aware of it. If ever AAA needed Mil Muertes, it's now!

As for CMLL, this will give them a brief boost but they'll find some way to make it dull soon, they always do.
