Awards Moderator Frankie Crisp Posted October 19, 2011 Author Awards Moderator Share Posted October 19, 2011 Do you mean: Â a) favourite song The Beatles covered? b) favourite Beatles song covered by someone else? c) favourite vinyl cover design? Awards Moderator Frankie Crisp Posted October 19, 2011 Author Awards Moderator Share Posted October 19, 2011 No worries, just wasn't sure in which direction to go with a reply.  I've posted this a couple of times on the forum, but I love version of Let It Be from the Across the Universe film. The context in which it appears within the film makes it all the better. Will possibly think of a few more later although I'm a fussy bastard when it comes to people covering The Beatles. EdgarTheSlouch
If were talking by a Beatle member then Come and Get It by Badfinger  If were talking an actually Beatle song then, either Come Together by Chairmen Of The Board or Helter Skelter by Motley Crue
hitman89762000
I don't think you can go wrong with this: Neil young, a day in the life.
Paid Members Surf Digby Posted October 19, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted October 19, 2011 Come Together suits Michael Jackson's style perfectly, even if he does mime wanking onto Jennifer Batten's face. Â Dweezil Zappa's version of Any Time At All is rather lively.
The Miz
Anyone remember the short lived Smokin Mojo Filters. It was a band consisting of Paul Mccartney, Paul Weller and others. Anyhow there cover of Come Together is great. Its still a cover even though Mccartney is in the group. It was in aid of a charity.

Awards Moderator Frankie Crisp Posted October 19, 2011 Author Awards Moderator Share Posted October 19, 2011 If anyone dares suggest that is passable, you can step the fuck away from this thread. As the most recent comment states on the link: 'I remember that. Total wank'.
Paid Members tiger_rick Posted October 19, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted October 19, 2011 Mine's definitely "We all follow a black and amber team" by the East Stand choir. Anyone else's team have any Beatles inspired chants?
