Kenny McBride
OK, I know this may sound a little weird but I need your help to suggest songs to do with boats and sailing. I'm putting together a playlist for a nautically-themed party and I'm only up to a little under an hour so far. Ideally I want at least a couple of hours worth of tunes, so I probably need a good 20 more songs (at least). The type of music is irrelevant - I can happily have wee quiet sections and mental loud sections. But it ALL has to be about the life aquatic. Â All suggestions will be gratefully received, even if I never thank you and I'm a complete cunt to you in a different thread later today.

Kenny McBride
Â This song is, in fact, the reason for the nautical theming of the party.

Paid Members ShortOrderCook Posted April 16, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted April 16, 2011 'Parting of the Sensory' is the greatest song ever but, that's not one i'd have suggested for this topic. Modest Mouse do have a bunch of songs from that same album 'We Were Dead Before The Ship Even Sank' which you could link to sailing, many tenuously though. Either way you should check out the album as it's brilliant and they're an incredible band. Â Funeral for a Friend also have an album with a bunch of sailing references. Best being All Hands on Deck Pt.1 and Pt.2. Â And i guess anything by Seasick Steve.
