TNA Impact losing week after week in the Monday Night ratings, despite having the better show during that period.

The Monday Night Wars ending. This year has been full of anti-climaxes, but this it my top. Everything else I expected to happen to be fair, but I always thought they'd have hung on a bit longer with this.

Bret vs Vince.

Cena (not) being fired.

The unveiling of Jeff Hardy's shit belt. It would look at home on a Diva or at Mardi Gras, it does not look like anything a manly man of a wrestler would ever want to own, let alone fight for. It makes the WWE Tag Team/Elizabeth Duke titles look like the Holy fucking Grail.

Probably not the biggest but I'll nominate it anyway: the end of the Straight-Edge Society. For all of CM Punk's awesome preaching and the rivalry with Rey, the dwindlings thereafter and the half-arsed (near self-imposed) dissolvement of the S.O.S just made it look shite.

Edges initial face run at the start of the year

Edge - Jericho feud

Randy Ortons face run

CM Punk being unmasked in a segment with Big Show and the Rey feud just sort of fizzling out

Bryan vs Cole having no pay-off or Nexus/Anonymous GM link

Nexus' Bigger picture

Cena being forced to be a member of Nexus

Some of them probably count as one...

Cena being fired and appearing at the shows anyway, blatently jumping the security walls and beating up WWE employees (The Nexus) without any opposition from security and actually having his theme music play at one point despite being fired and having nothing to do with WWE (at that point).
