classic Wrestlemania matches in remastered HD form for the Blu Ray.

Filmed on film and shown live eh? Must have been a hell of a strain on the editors wrist, to loosely nab a Simpsons joke. In other words, you are very wrong good sir.

At best, they'll just be upscaled and look the same as the DVDs would in an upscaling DVD player.

All of the Wrestlemania's from 18 onwards were also filmed, well on film. That means they can be put into HD, like old movies.

Absolute bollocks. You don't half talk some shit, Dill. They were live broadcasts. There might have been some film cameras on the go at the events, but they were certainly not the main cameras, and no WrestleManias have ever been edited or mastered on film.

Out of curiousity though, where on earth did you even get that notion from?

They are always talking about it on the DVD Talk forum, it's the honest to god truth. They use the normal cameras that they use every week, but they also filmed it on film. You can even see they have the extra cameras at ringside.

That would mean there would be two almost identical yet totally different versions of all those Wrestlemanias. Why would they do that?

Someone had better tell the good people at DVD Talk that they have been wrong for over five years (Since the discussion for the Wrestlemania Anthology was announced) then, as they've been led to believe by someone that Wrestlemanias 18 onwards were also shot on film.

Go on Dill, go break the news to them. And if they start on you, a few of us lads on the UKFF will go and start accounts on there and sort them out for you.

Cant one of the Mods just let Dillkid post under his original name? ThePhenom gimmick is like the times a wrestler would go to WCW and wouldn't be allowed to use the name. Dill still has the same look and character (loves DVD's, hates school, has old pictures of Steve Austin in his avatar), but the name isn't getting over with me. Does this mean Neil now owns the trademark to Dillkid and therefor owns his Youtube channel as well?

I wonder if changing his name to Dillph Ziggler would stop people taking him seriously at main event level? He could start going out with Kookookachu to establish himself alongside the top stars on the Off-Topic brand.
