Paid Members chokeout Posted April 29, 2016 Paid Members Posted April 29, 2016 Punisher has been picked up for a solo series. Steve Lightfoot from Hannibal is the show runner. Someone better check on Branquey before he pulls his stomach out. Quote

Paid Members GlennCullen Posted April 29, 2016 Paid Members Posted April 29, 2016 http://www.imdb.com/video/imdb/vi2610410521/ Batman:The Killing Joke trailer. So glad that Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill are back for this. Conroy will always be the definitive Batman voice to me Right, I want to give these animated Batman films a go. Which are the highest recommended? Quote

WyattSheepMask Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 (edited) Don't you mean Assault On Arkham? They're all pretty good, but The Dark Knight Returns is great stuff. It's spilt into two parts over here but you can get them cheap enough on DVD or BluRay, if you can import they have it as a stand alone Bluray that presents it as one 2 & a half hour film and has a great commentary. The animated version of Year One is also very good Edited April 29, 2016 by WyattSheepMask Quote
Paid Members BigJag Posted April 29, 2016 Paid Members Posted April 29, 2016 Are these on Netflix? Quote

Paid Members Bellenda Carlisle Posted April 29, 2016 Author Paid Members Posted April 29, 2016 I know it's a Justice League one but Batman is prominent in it; Crisis on two Earths is my favourite superhero cartoon so far. If you want just Batman the Dark Knight Returns ones are really excellent and couldn't have been any better really. I didn't rate Escape from Arkham much, I much preferred Justice League Doom even though it's one of my least favourite Batman stories. One of the two Batman/Superman ones is good too but I can't remember which off the top of my head. Quote
WyattSheepMask Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 Also, we're having a discussion about animated Batman films. How have we not recommended Mask of the Phantasm yet!? Quote
RIDDUM_N_STYLE Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 Civil War in 2 words - Fucking Amazing!!!!! Quote
Mr.E Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 Civil War is fucking sublime. Better that BvsS and easily within the top 2 superhero movies of all time, I just can't decide if it's the best! Need to see it again ha. Quote
Paid Members chokeout Posted April 30, 2016 Paid Members Posted April 30, 2016 Also, we're having a discussion about animated Batman films. How have we not recommended Mask of the Phantasm yet!? Im shocked it took this long to mention it. mask of the Phantasm is the daddy of animated ( and better than most of the live action) batman films. Quote
Guest Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 Seen civil war last night, really enjoyed it. Could have done with a proper baddy in it though. Quote
